COMMENTS: I have never experienced a fragrance that completely changed the texture of my cold process soap. I added this fragrance and it made my soap look like cement. I usually can add a lil water and stick blend with other scents if ricing occurs. However, this was a waste of money, time, materials.

COMMENTS: I never usually write reviews, but this one definitely needed it. I’ve been soaping for years and have NEVER had a fragrance cause such bad ricing. I was unable to stick blend it out, it basically turned to cement. I am angry because oops aren’t cheap and this batch was completely ruined. In the trash, it went.

COMMENTS: I decided to substantially reduce the percentage of this product in my cold process soap to avoid the problems noted by other reviewers on ricing. "Ricing" does not adequately describe what happened. It immediately turned my long tested CP formula into 4 inch chunks. I will have to hot process this batch to save it.

COMMENTS: Initially, this fragrance started to rice, but I was able to stir my soap into submission. I guess it decided to fight back, because trace acceleration was quick. I was totally exhausted rushing and stirring to hurry and get the soap in the mold. However, it is a wonderful fragrance and worth the purchase....but stick to one color with this one.

COMMENTS: Loved this scent. Used in a homemade perfume for myself that I mixed with a few essential oils. Also used that blend in a small batch of candles. Had to up it to 10% of the weight of the wax (natural soy and beeswax 50/50 blend) to get good throw. Had a bit of the wax blend left and poured it into small gem shaped molds to use a wax tarts. I use them in my powder room. It smells like a spa in there. I need to order more because I definitely want to make CP soap and lotion using this.

COMMENTS: This fragrance oil reminds me of honeysuckle... sweet, fresh & florally. It blends beautifully with my lotion and Glycerin soap. In the CP soap the fragrance accelerated the trace a bit. I fixed the problem with the next batch by using the HP soapmaking technique taught at the Handmade Conference 2018. I like that it appeals to men & women.

COMMENTS: This fragrance has made it into my top 5 favorites and my top 5 sellers since I started using it 3 months ago! I bought it to use in a bath bomb blend. A little bit, less than I would typically add to a bath bomb, goes a long way. It creates great scent in the product both on the shelf and in the tub. I have customers ask me what fragrance it was and if they could get my sugar scrub and lotion bars to smell like that bath bomb. Of course, I placed another order for this fragrance to get them what they wanted! Next, I decided to use it in cold process soap. Here I noticed that it will accelerate or cause a bit of ricing depending on my recipe and oil temperature. I now know I have to be careful what colors I use it with, especially if I am trying to use it for a swirl. The scent has lasted well in my bars, and has not discolored. I had to try it in hot process, too, just to see how it would do. My hot process with this fragrance went beautifully, and the scent throw from my bars is noticeable across a room! Love this!

COMMENTS: I made a few bars of CP "Fresh Avocado Soap" scented with Bamboo Fragrance Oil 253. My husband, quite content with "Ivory Soap" reached for it to use when his Ivory Soap last sliver was too small to use. He was absolutely thrilled with the scent and this was his first purposeful encounter with hand crafted soap. He not only whined when he saw only three bars left, but he told folks about its quality and its scent and even parted with a bar to give his daughter. Word began spreading to all her friends and I can't seem to make CP/HP loaves with this scent fast enough! Then, I created Room & Linen Sprays. Same thing --- can't make enough fast enough, it seems!
It has a clean, refreshing and uplifting scent. Only have a few drops left, so I had to order another bottle... in fact, I've ordered EVERY Bamboo type FO recently to keep everybody happy! Can't wait to get them!

"It Moves Fast!" |

COMMENTS: I used this FO in CP soap. Recipe is CO, OO, Lard, and Castor. It's a recipe I used many times and I was really surprised when, after stick blending for less than 5 minutes I decided to add my FO. In 30 seconds I went from thin, non-traced soap, to thick and almost ricing. I stick blended and then used the "plop it and hope" method. This set up super fast. While I like the scent, it's clean and fresh with a tiny bit of floral thrown in, there is no way to anything other than plop it in a mold. No pretty swirls (not that swirls are my strong point) just mix a little and hope it looks ok.

COMMENTS: This fragrance oil smells delicious! I have not tried it in a soap yet so I can't speak to whether it affects color or trace speed but I do not anticipate any problems and am so excited to try it. To me it smells similar to some of the fresh, or clean linen scents. I love the fruit smells but sometimes you just don't want to smell like a fruit salad all day. If that is the case then I think this will be my go to scent.

COMMENTS: I grew up around bamboo, so I knew better than to buy this hoping for a straight up bamboo smell. I was hoping more for a spa-type smell. Which is exactly what this is. Soothing, green, herbaceous, and just a little bit dewy. I'll have to buy a whole lot more of this. It doesn't smell like a bamboo forest, but it does smell like a day at a very chic spa.

COMMENTS: Brilliant I tell you. Green, clean spa type fragrance, I do detect citrus notes but maybe that's the green tea. Will accelerate trace in CP but if you move FAST, its no problem. No fancy swirls and twirls for this FO. Behaves well in all other products.
