Our Basic Goat Milk Melt and Pour Soap Base is white and contains real goat milk, thought to be pampering to the skin. The ten-pound block makes (40) 4 oz. bars of soap and measures 12" x 11" x 2.25". This soap is opaque with a big bubble lather.

Directions:
MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.
MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a Crafter's Choice mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.
ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!
CAUTION: Melted soap is hot! For ages 15 and older.

"Sweats Beyond reasonable expectations " |

COMMENTS: It should be called sweat soap or slime soap. I can not use it for baby shower favors because it was never not moist. Followed instructions to easily remove it from mold and the soap has been wet since. I can not wrap the soap because the soap excessively wet from production.

COMMENTS: I've been making CP goat milk soap, but was running low on stock with a couple events coming up. I used this melt & pour block to supplement and it performs beautifully! Though I live in the humid Southeastern USA, I add Sodium Lactate to harden the soap (1/2oz per lb) and shrink wrap each individual soap.

COMMENTS: Love this base a lot. I use Goat's Milk in all of my MP batches and having the big 10 lb box was really great. I did have difficulty here and there getting the base out since it was poured directly into a bag and the little creases of the bag got stuck inside of the base. But that was more an inconvenience than an actual issue with the product since the base itself is a great addition to my arsenal.

COMMENTS: Used this in a pinch for a fragrance oil that didn't behave well in CP soap. This melted quickly, and was great to mix some colors into. This set up in a few hours, and produced a beautfiful soap! I definetly ordered more to use for my fragrances that get eaten up by CP soap.

I have tried goat milk and other types of MP from other sellers and they typically do not offer the same lather as this one does. COMMENTS: I was running sort on time and didn't have enough time to make the usual cold process soap for a craft show I was a vendor at and so I decided to try the melt and pour soap. It is amazing! I'm not entirely sure what I was expecting, but this is a great product and I am sure to buy again! It is nice and bubbly and holds color (I use mica powder) and fragrance extremely well. It is a must try. I ordered the 10 lb pack and it was easy to cut into smaller pieces.

COMMENTS: I had dry, itchy skin and was willing to try anything to get relief. I did research on the internet and found goats milk soap. I decided to make some and try it. It holds such beautiful shades of blue, unmolded and cuts easily, very nice scent throw also, and incredibly moisturizing. I sell this soap as quickly as its made!
