Directions:
DIRECTIONS: This powder disperses best in water and water based products. For dry products, add desired amount of color to dry ingredients. Incorporate color to formula slowly, using amount as desired. Adding this color to a white base will produce a beautiful pastel color. Adding this color to a clear base will produce a darker true color.
TIPS: Using too much color may cause staining. Test your final product to insure optimal performance and no staining. Protect work areas and clothing when mixing.
STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase.
CAUTION: Approved for general cosmetics, lip and eye products. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not inhale.

COMMENTS: A very tiny bit goes a very long way! I've only used this once, so far for soap and bath bombs. Both were much, much darker than I expected, especially the soap, even though I used less than the suggested amount. Bubbles are blue. I think this will be nice grated and used in confetti soap. I'll go earlier with this next time.

COMMENTS: So easy to use. I am a beginner at bath bomb making and the array of different types of colorants you can use was intimidating. I tried this from the sample pack and am so glad I did! A little goes a long way but I love using a lot for bright bath colors. No ring in the tub, no stain, no residue, nothing. Uniform in bath water color. This also worked well when I mixed some of the stained glass liquid colors in. Also tried this with a touch of black iron oxide to darken it (used poly 80 for that) and it darkened perfectly. This is my favorite color of the Bath Bomb Powder Colors.

COMMENTS: This item was soo awesome. I used it to make a bath bomb and when mixing it with the dry products I thought it was going to be a light blue, but after adding the wet products the color began to pop ! When I finished my bath bomb I then put it into the water and it made my whole tub Blue ! It was so awesome. I bought the 2oz and it was definitely enough especially to last a long time, Especially you only need a little bit. Will buy more once I run out.

COMMENTS: I got the lakes in all 4 colors, and I LOVE them! I use them all the time. You don't need any polysorbate or anything! They dispurse in the water beautifully and don't leave a ring around the tub! Just be careful not to get it on your skin or clothes. It definitely stains!

"This is the bluest blue I have ever seen" |

COMMENTS: You only need to use a fraction of this color for mixing with other colors or even your batch. When I opened the jar, I was mesmerized (in a grand way :) It was a deeply rich shade of an indescribable hue somewhere shy of indigo...but much, much more vivid. I absolutely love my purchase and can't wait for the opportunity to use it exclusively in a project. I tried to mix red and this blue to make purple...I added more and more red and thought I had purple in the container...but I ended up with a baby blue (no complaints because it was just for icing on a bath bomb cupcake). LOVE IT!

I had done my research and had purchased the Polysorbate 80 thinking that it would disperse the micas but apparently I hadn't used nearly enough. After using this I will never go back! COMMENTS: It's great except you have to work with gloves. I hate wearing gloves when I make bath bombs because I can't tell the right consistency. But if I don't- this stuff litterally clings to me and gets all over. It washes off nice but! you definitely need polysorbate 80 to keep it from creating a ring around the tub and staining your mixing ware.

COMMENTS: This is lake colorant for bath bombs, fizzes, and salts. Do not attempt to use this product with anything that goes directly on the skin - only for those that will be dissolved in a large amount of water. This colorant will color the water and does not require polysorbate to prevent a ring around the tub. Wonderful product for bath bombs.

COMMENTS: I love these colors. I have used 3 of the 4 available (red, yellow and blue). I love all three of them. They are easy to use, do not stain and color the water very well. I add Poly 80 to my mix and have had no problems whatsoever. They are bright colors and always attract a lot of attention to my booth!

COMMENTS: I love how bold and vibrant these colors are! This is a bright beautiful royal blue. I also like how easy it is to work with for bath bombs. This blue did seem like it could possibly stain though. I got some on my counter top while making things, and it did not wipe off easily like the other lake colors did.
Also I tried mixing this and the red in equal measures to make purple, and ended up with a very gray looking color. So it would be nice if more colors were offered.

COMMENTS: This works so well for bath fizzies. I make fizzies for some children that have EXTREMELY sensitive skin. I have a couple of fragrances I use and I color the fizzies with the bath bomb color. Blue is their favorite, hands down. It doesn't irritate their skin and it also rinses clean---no blue ring around the tub when they are done with their bath.

I ordered the sample color set and can't wait to try the other colors.
Also, so simple to use being the powder...will try this product in other creations as well because it mixes in with the dry ingredients very nice!
Will be a pleasure to try to mix colors and produce vibrant bath bombs.

COMMENTS: I was told that lakes are the best colorants to use in bath bombs and between the blue and yellow bath bomb colors, I will say that I'm very impressed! No ring around the tub, no skin staining, no worries! As I've said in previous reviews, if you're going to be using a lot of blue in your bath bombs and fizzies, then do yourself a favor and buy a large size, because if you buy the sample size, you're going to be left wanting more!

COMMENTS: Used it for a bubble bar, with one layer of blue and one of blue mixed with red, for a deep purple. Mixing with the dry ingredients, I wasn't sure what the intensity would be, but WOW! I was concerned that folks might come out of the bathtub looking like Smurfs, but my daughter took on and tried it, and it washed right off; didn't leave a tub ring either, even with the intense color. They are sure are eye-catching, and that's GREAT!

COMMENTS: I got is as a sample with one of purchases I made. This is an absolutely gorgeous color. It's vibrant and very eye-catching. The only issue I had (and it was my own doing) was that I used too much for the Melt & Pour soaps I made. So when I tested it, the lather was a pretty pale blue. However, it didn't stain my skin or the sink. Therefore, when people pick it and look at it, I have to explain about the lather so that they won't be surprised when they use it at home! This is a lesson learned -- start out with less -- you can always add more, you can't take away! I will definitely be buying more of this!

COMMENTS: I finally got to play with this sample bag of colorant today. WOW! Very strong color with only a little bit used. I mixed a little of the red bath bomb powder with a touch of the blue to go in some Lavender EO bath bombs. Next time I'll use a little less blue - its a lot more potent than the red is apparently because it was not quite the color I was expecting. Heed everyone's advise that has posted - don't just any one color by the performance of another color - because obviously there's a big difference in the depth of each - even though you're using the same amount you had previously. Lesson learned by this crafter, for sure.

COMMENTS: I love this color. I use this color so that the water will change colors with using my bombs. Beware it doesn't take much to gets the effect. Don't go for the deep dark blue or you will have way to much color in the water. This doesn't stain the tub or leave a ring.

COMMENTS: Love this blue for my bath bombs. I was not sure of how much to use, but a little really does go a long way. I just made a batch, I think I need to use less. My husband took a bath (he is one of my testers) in calming water with the blue colorant and it was a bit much, but I am glad to say that with all the color in the bomb, that it did not color the tub or his skin!

COMMENTS: This product is great, I like how it doesn't stain the tub. Also, a little goes a long way, which is another positive thing about it. I use it in my bath bombs, bath salts, solid bubble bath, and milk baths. I bought yellow, blue, and red, so I can custom mix them into different shades of orange, green, purple and so on. The blue is great for using in products with blue themed scents like cool water, blueberry, and ocean rain. Five stars, I recommend this product and will be buying it again.

COMMENTS: At first I was weary because the blue was so dark but the skies the limit on the blue variation this makes. With bath bombs due to the off white clay I get a pretty aqua blue and in scrubs I add just a bit to get a baby blue. Very easy to use and a little goes a very, very long way.

COMMENTS: This blue is gorgeous in bath bombs, and you can make a variety of shades with how little or much you use. I've made everything from a pastel blue to a dark midnight blue with this, and it never ever stains the tub. The color dissolves and makes the water a beautiful clear color, and it doesn't stick to the skin. I only use these colors for my bath bombs.

COMMENTS: I have been looking for a color to replace a previous company that no longer carries stock of product. I talked with customer service and they recommended this one and was so glad I tried it. I use this mainly in a bath salt that is for aching, tired muscles and mix with muscle rescue and a few other essential oils, then I add a little of this for the "icing" on the cake. To add to the relaxation, it turns the water just a beautiful blue and doesn't stain tub. Love the total experience it offers and it takes just a little.

COMMENTS: I ordered the sample bags of these colorants and am very impressed with the value. You really do only need a tiny pinch to deeply color a batch of bath bombs! I screwed up with my first attempt and dissolved the dye in water before adding to my bomb mix, it made a clumpy fizzy mess! Best to mix the dry powder in with your citric acid and baking soda before adding any fluids. These colorants do darken considerably when fragrance or witch hazel is added. They do tint bath water when used but I've had no issues with them leaving a ring or any staining. This is a very vibrant blue, makes a bright apple green when mixed with equal parts of the yellow bath bomb color.

COMMENTS: I usually do not add color to my bath bombs but wanted a little pizazz since these bombs were being made for teenagers. I decided on blue, because who doesn't like blue bath water? The product description said this type of color would not leave a color ring in the tub and it did not. The first time I used a tiny bit, but as I got more comfortable with the color, I increased the amount. Didnt irritate the skin & the bright blue was definitely an eye catching color! Will buy again.
