Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF into mold. Cool until soap has hardened. Remove soap from mold. For easier unmolding, place into freezer for 30 minutes, and then immerse bottom of the mold in hot water for a few moments. Do not use cooking spray to coat mold.
Cold Process Soap: Coat the mold with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into mold. After 24 hours, flip mold over onto a clean surface. Gently push the back of the mold until the soap begins to release then pull the soap out of the mold with a gloved hand. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some CP soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold cavities at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF. Allow mixture to solidify. Flip mold over onto clean surface. Gently push back of mold until lotion bar begins to release then pull bar out of mold.
Care:
Wash in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

"LOVE THIS MOLD!" |
COMMENTS: I think I own each and every mold MILKY WAY makes. I love the size of the bars as well as the great details in each style. Ease of de-molding is great if you allow them to cool in the mold. If you are inpatient like me, you can easily speed up the process by putting the mold in the refrigerator for about 15 - 20 minutes. The perfect design for people who ride bikes, no matter what their age.

"LOVE, LOVE, LOVE" |
COMMENTS: We are avid cyclists, so this mold was an obvious choice. I love the molds I purchased! You must put your soap into the freezer after 24 hours of curing to get the soap out without disfiguring the shape. I suggest at least 15 minutes. For soft oil soaps, I suggest not much more time than the 15 minutes otherwise, you get the soap out but face the same possibility of disfiguring the soap due to the added "moisture" of the freezer and the softness of the oils used in CP.

"Nice mold" |
COMMENTS: This is a super cute mold and I love the way the soap comes out, although after only a few uses the plastic mold gets a little messed up from releasing your soaps from the mold. I'd love if this came in a silicone mold.

"Perfect for those of us who bike" |
COMMENTS: This mold is so perfect for the products I make for my boys. They all love to bike and the soaps and lotion bars that I give them from this mold make them feel special. I read a few reviews talking about ways to get the molds to easily release and here's what has worked for me; I spray a small amount of cooking spray into the cavity and really rub it into the small spaces of the spokes and seat before I pour the CP soap. Then after 24 hours I pop the mold with the soaps into the freezer for about 30 minutes. With gentle pressure they come right out, super crisp. It's my favorite mold.
