A middle note, Black Pepper essential oil is warm and spicy with a hint of crisp and fresh wood. Black Pepper Essential Oil is great in beard oils, massage oils, and soaps. A base/middle note, Black Pepper blends well with Clary Sage, Bergamot, Juniper Berries and more.

"Black Pepper EO" |

COMMENTS: The black pepper EO is awesome in my cold processed soap. It did not cause it to trace fast. I use unrefined coconut oil, I know for me, this did make a difference in how my soaps traced. Will be buying this again this winter. I paired this with cedarwood for an earthy scent.

"Blends well, not overpowering" |

COMMENTS: Out of the bottle it is a little spicy with a warm, faintly woodsy floral scent, but it mellows wonderfully in cured soap to smell just like black pepper. I like that it is subtle and not too strong. Blends very well with many other EOs. Haven't tried it on it's own but it "sticks" pretty well in my soap. Adds a great layer of depth to the blend I use and people can still tell it's pepper. Can't wait to try it in other products. Will definitely be back for more!
