COMMENTS: I was kind of disappointed that this wasn't more sharp and peppery to begin with, but I tried it anyway just to see if it improved out of the bottle. No misbehavior or discoloration, but the finished soap has virtually no smell at a 9% usage rate, which should be plenty. I'll probably have to shred this soap and turn it into something else since it is almost, but not quite, completely odorless.

COMMENTS: This scent is very similar to the Molton Brown cologne! Both my father/brother are big fans of the scent and own the original. Upon a personal comparison I would say this dupe is spot on out of the bottle! However, the scent did morph and fade a little in my cold process recipe (post cure a month later). The scent is still good, but not as accurate as before. It preformed well in my recipe (steep water discount/~55% hard oils) and I was able to achieve a nice ombre/layered soap.
Overall a great find!

COMMENTS: This FO smells wonderful right out of the bottle. Not so sure how 'peppery' it is, but the fragrance is definitely one that is more on the masculine side. I did a triple swirl CP soap and it performed beautifully. No acceleration and no ricing. I was able to do in-the-pot swirls without any problem (and it's exceedingly hot here today). I'm sure my customers will enjoy this soap.

COMMENTS: I ordered this to use in a blend, thinking it would smell like black pepper essential oil. It smells nothing like that, and as a matter of fact, I thought maybe I had gotten the wrong bottle.
However, the scent grabbed me right out of the bottle. I used it in body butter this morning, and even my husband told me I smelled good. ( believe me, I marked THAT on the calendar!) I mixed up a small batch of VP soap to see how it would work, and it did just fine.
This one is a keeper!

COMMENTS: People love this fragrance! I gave a soap sample to an acquaintance. A few months later, she contacted me to buy soaps because her husband loved the (Black Pepper) soap! He said it was the best soap he ever used! I think it's this fragrance that won him over! The fragrance reminds me of Axe fragrances, but not in a bad way -- classy, clean, complex and appealing! Primarily a manly scent, but it smells so good, some women might use it, too. Does not smell like black pepper from the kitchen.

COMMENTS: I love this fragrance! It smells just like the MB brand to me and it's fantastic. I just put a bigger bottle in my shopping cart! I used it in CPOP and it performed beautifully. I did a very elaborate pour that took around 20 minutes and had plenty of time to work.

COMMENTS: Made a super- fatted soap for our Town's underground miners and scented it with Black Pepper. Although it was not a really attractive bar, it flew off the shelves! The scent sold it! Kinda wished I had purchased the largest bottle of fragrance oil as I ran out and couldn't keep up with demand. Will absolutely buy again!

COMMENTS: I received this as a test FO. I used it in CP soap and Massage Cream. In CP soap, there was no acceleration; no ricing; perfect pour and cures to a cream color. I expected it to smell more peppery, and therefore I was not too excited about it. But WOW! Fantastic scent that I am sure my male customers will love! The scent is different between products for sure. As the CP soap cured, it almost turned to a sweet/spicy scent. In the massage Cream, it was more spicy and had a hint of oak moss was not overwhelming at all. Recommend!
