COMMENTS: This was my 1st time making a body butter and I chose to make 5% of my formula be this scent. Oh my gosh, it smells so amazing. My husband perceived it as candy he would eat as a kid so he enjoyed the scent in a totally different way than I did, but still really enjoyed it. I didn't feel like I needed a substantial amount and I was very pleased with the amount of scent I got out of it for my product. I would absolutely recommend this scent and can see myself continuing to purchase it

COMMENTS: I’ve smelled this FO from other companies. I’m not sure if i got a bad batch or if all the other people who left reviews were paid or robots for the company. It literally smells so bad. Didn’t like it when i first opened the bottle but i know it doesn’t always smell as good until in products. Put it in my lotion, didn’t quite smell like the usual BRV I’m used to…. Put it on my arm and it’s disgusting. I only bought the FO from here bc i had other things i was buying and figured id just grab the FO. Never again. I’ll stick to other companies for my fragrances.

COMMENTS: This Fragrance tops all of the fragrances I have tried. There are very few people that do not like it. I am using it in cold process soap and lotion bars. COMMENTS: This is definitely in my top 5 most popular scents. Whenever I go to craft shows or markets, I always sell at least a few of these. But, in my opinion, the best part about this fragrance is how easy it is to work with. I have plenty of time for a 3-color swirl in my CP goat milk soap, and I can always breathe easy when I use it. I also make homemade goat milk lotion, and I will say that once I added this to a batch that was probably a little too hot, and scent went "off". Not sure how to describe it. Not bad, but not quite the same. Since then I always make sure my lotion is at 110 F or less before adding, and haven't had a problem since.

COMMENTS: I used this for cold process soap and body butter bars. It smells great. It's got a sort of buttery note, which I think is how they got the vanilla without vanillin. The vanilla smell is there too though! I worked at around 90 degrees and stirred in my colors and the fragrance by hand. I did a gradient pour, over a dozen layers transitioning from cream to purple, and it was hardly any thicker when I was done than when I started. A week later, the soap looks and smells like it did when I cut it. No discoloration; no fading. I am absolutely getting more of this.

COMMENTS: Okay, don't get me wrong. I love this fragrance oil. I use it in my CP soaps, sugar scrubs, and bath salts.
But there isn't really any vanilla in this. It is just a really nice blend of dark berries and it is a huge seller.
That being said, if you are surrounded by it a lot, sometimes there is the slightest hint of cat pee mixed in with the berries.
It can be weird, but I have never noticed it in the final product, but I mix it with a tiny bit of Vanilla Bean FO from a different distributor.

COMMENTS: Wow! This does precisely what I expect a fragrance oil to do...stick! It performed wonderfully in my CP recipe of Lard, Coconut oil, Olive Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Shea Butter! Milk instead of water. The lard and shea total roughly 50% of the recipe, too! Soap spent the night in the fridge and 9 days into the cure, the scent is still there. Very highly recommended!

I deducted one star because it does not have a strong scent when the bars are dry (on display), however when the bar is wet upon use the scent is great. I don't believe it is a result of the hot process method, as I do not add the fragrance until the mixture has cooled quite a bit and have not had this issue come up with any other fragrance oils I have used. Otherwise, it is fabulous.

COMMENTS: When I first received this scent I was initially concerned that the scent wasn't strong enough. I made a 48.6oz batch of hot process soap with a full 2oz bottle and it turned out amazing. I have a small soap ball that I decided to use until my soap is fully cured and it is so fragrant. I had used some white mica for a portion of the soap and it's true, this oil doesn't discolor! Love it! I will be purchasing this scent again.

COMMENTS: This is probably one of the absolute best behaving FO's I've ever used! I think this FO would work excellent in ANY recipe, as it behaved on-point in my fastest moving CP recipe without a single issue! In fact, it seemed to slow down trace a bit, giving me ample time to swirl & "play". This would be a great FO for those just learning how to make soap, as there are no surprises here! It smells WONDERFUL as well! The black raspberry smells tart & juicy, and it's an all around happy aroma! I couldn't really detect much of the vanilla in this FO, but am hoping those notes will come out to play as the soap cures. Despite wishing there were a tad more vanilla scent in this FO, I'm still giving it 5 stars, as the aroma is delicious regardless, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with! Soaped like a champ, and I see this being a staple scent for me from now on! WONDERFUL!

COMMENTS: I am in LOVE with this FO for so many reasons! For starters, it smells DELICIOUS! Also, I'm not quite sure how you make a "vanilla" scented FO with NO vanilla, but I LOVE that because there is zero discoloration and you can use any colors you choose. My last huge LOVE is that it did not accelerate trace one bit for me...in fact, I was at a thin trace for quite a while with 2 out of 3 colors. When I added titanium dioxide to a portion of my soap, it caused slight thickening, but was still very fluid. I should also add that I do not use a "slow moving" recipe and I soap with oils and lye at room temp. Also, I added my FO to my oils prior to adding lye.

COMMENTS: Most soapers will tell you that this fragrance is a top seller -- and it is. Wasn't a fan of the scent OOB but it smells VERY good after cure, though I think I will be a little more heavy-handed with it next time. Fragrance isn't quite as strong as I expected (I did not use max %) but that is something I can easily adjust. Doesn't have the bizarre "fake" smell I associate with this FO from other vendors.
Behaves very well in CP, no discoloration, acceleration, or seizing.
I definitely plan on buying more of this FO and possibly using it in other products. HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a juicy black raspberry and vanilla fragrance. This one is a bit "sweet" smelling rather than "tart", but that is probably why I like it and it does not cure into a bitter or fake smell. Love it.

There are no issues soaping with this fragrance. I experienced no discoloration, acceleration, or ricing. Black raspberry sticks very well in CP soap. As such, I can use about half an ounce in a 1 pound soap and still get a great scent.

COMMENTS: I have used several different suppliers Black Raspberry and Vanilla. I have always found them to be to be to sweet, overpowering or have a slight medical smell (cough syrup!). I was very pleased that the scent was pleasant when I opened them bottle, and I didn't have to put a few drops on my test blotters to be able to smell the fragrance. It worked wonderful in my lotion, and it did not thin it out as much as some other fragrance oils I have used in the past. I am excited to order more!

COMMENTS: All the great reviews about this fragrance are absolutely right. I was surprised that it had no vanilla but that's a good thing in regard to no discoloration. My products have held scent well and have had no issues. I really like the fruity scent mixed with vanilla. I think this will be popular this summer and I like working with this FO....makes the work area smell so good. Highly recommend.

But I have to say, it has been my best seller in everything that I make it in. It is just an amazing scent. It can be for all age groups and is very clean and sassy. I bought a 4oz bottle and will have to order more soon, as I keep selling out of the products that I make with this scent. It's amazing, you can't go wrong with this one. COMMENTS: I have been using this fragrance for a few years, it's one of my best sellers. Doesn't accelerate cp soap, doesn't turn brown like a lot of fragrances with vanilla in them. COMMENTS: This is an exact duplication of Bath and Body Works. Customers request it all the time. I love that it doesn't discolor in CP soaps as there is 0% vanilla , although you can definitly smell it. Lovely any time of year
