Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap into silicone mold cavities. Allow soap to cool at room temperature until hard. Carefully remove soap from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the soap, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap and carefully pull out of the mold.
Cold Process Soap: Pour soap at trace into the mold cavities. After at least 24 hours, place in freezer for 45-60 mins then gently pull silicone mold to loosen its grip on the soap. Flip mold over onto a clean surface and gently push on the bottom of mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap with a gloved hand, and allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cold process soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Cold Process/Oven Process Soap: Pour soap at trace into the mold cavities. Preheat oven to 170ºF then place mold in oven. Turn oven off, and keep soap in oven overnight. The next day remove mold from oven. Carefully remove soap from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the soap, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap and carefully pull out of the mold. Allow soap to cure for 2 to 4 weeks.
Hot Process Soap: Scoop hot process soap into mold cavities. Gently tap the mold onto the counter to remove air pockets. Allow soap to cool and harden. (This can take up to 48 hours.) Carefully remove soap from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the soap, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap and carefully pull out of the mold.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold cavities. Allow mixture to solidify. Carefully remove lotion bars from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the lotion bars, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the lotion bars starts to release. Grab hold of lotion bar and carefully pull out of mold.
Care: Hand wash in warm sudsy water.

"Love love love!!!" |
COMMENTS: I bought 2 of these molds for melt and pour soaps and fell in love!! I wanted to have a bigger bar of soap, because a lot of companies don’t sell big body bars like these, and I like that it will last longer than the smaller bar. After making my first couple of batches, I ordered about 6 more when I saw they were on sale. Super easy to unmold soap from also. If you make melt and pour and are looking for a larger than normal soap size, this is a winner!!

"Should’ve Heeded Previous Review " |
COMMENTS: Review #1 of 2:
Day a Reaction: The lipped edges on this mold ruin the soap when unmolding.
Disclaimer: Recipe is 72% Hard Oils, 28% Soft Oils. I tried unmolding just now - after the soap (CPOP) sat in the oven undisturbed for 32 hours - and the bar I unmolded was ruined. I can always unmold this same recipe in as little as 8-12 hours with the Euro Rectangle (15 Bar) Mold.
I will post another review when I’m finally able to successfully unmold, hopefully. I love Crafters Choice molds and I must say I’m highly disappointed in this one thus far. I’d understand if this was a soft recipe but it’s not. If it takes longer than 2 days, I’ll have to find different molds and now I know to avoid those with “lipped edges”. And of course I eagerly bought 5 of them just knowing they’d be great! Sigh.

"Love the shape " |
COMMENTS: I used this on CP and even though the soap easily unmolded, the lipped edges dragged against the soap. I had to clean up the sides which then changed the shape, eliminating the rounded edges. For this to work on CP, the soap has to really dry out because when you unmold the soap, gravity combined with the lipped edges will press against the soap. The shape is nice and the soap fit perfectly in my hand but I think this is better for M&P.
