Our Buttercup Mica is full of fun and the gorgeous shimmer floats around the air with sparkle and shine. The Buttercup Mica is a luminous, strong-toned bright yellow with high shimmer. Shimmery, sunny, and loads of fun when added to lip balm and lip gloss!
Buttercup Mica is natural shimmer pigment derived from the mineral Muscovite Mica, coated with iron oxide, cosmetic-grade fineness (particle size 10-60 microns). Insoluble, but miscible in liquids. Sold by weight, not volume except for sample packet. For use in melt and pour soap base, see our tutorial: How to Use Mica Colorants in Soap. Properties: Imparts rich color with shimmering and pearlizing luminescence.
Use & Applications: Suspends best in thick bases and can be blended with other pigments. May be used in all kinds of decorative cosmetics and personal care products to add color, luster and pearlizing effects. Approved for: Lips, eyes, face, nails.
Use in soap: stable and non-bleeding.

COMMENTS: This mica temporarily morphs like another brand I have. It turns an orange color and then by the next day is back to yellow and it’s so pretty. But it had me a little worried since I didn’t know. I used it 2 Tsp PPO and have no complaints!

COMMENTS: This color looks GORGEOUS in the container,, BUT,I just made AN UNSCENTED soap with it and IT IMMEDIATELY TURNED THE COLOR DARK PEACH....I AM NOT SURE WHY...but the peach is pretty...
