Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Close the mold by firmly pressing the edges together. For added safety, clamp the edges. Slowly pour melted soap no hotter than 130ºF into mold. Allow soap to harden then open mold and remove soap. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Embed soap into a loaf or slice into bars.
Cold Process Soap: Close the mold by firmly pressing the edges together, and clamp the edges. Slowly pour traced soap into mold. After at least 24 hours, open mold and remove soap with gloved hands. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Embed soap into a loaf or slice into bars. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Care: Hand wash mold in warm, sudsy water.

"Very sturdy" |
COMMENTS: This mold is really nice and easy to use. Very sturdy. If you notice the side seams aren't meeting all the way and you are having seeping, then use binder clips to pinch the sides together.

"Love the concept" |
COMMENTS: Love the concept of these type / style of molds but they really are a royal ..... I can't tell you how many times it busted open on me, fell over and soap poured everywhere, or I knocked it over while filling. However, AFTER I watched the videos and read comments (which I should have done originally) I LOVE LOVE LOVE these molds. I have started to work on adapting them into some custom mixtures of scents in my CP GM soaps and love using them, and my customers like the added esthetic of the butterfly in their soaps!

"So Much Fun!" |
COMMENTS: I love playing with these embed molds. They are a great way to make use of batch leftovers. Easy to un-mold and I have very little or no leakage with them. Just had to find the correct pouring temp to keep the base from being too thin and having it seep through seams.
CC Response: | We suggest pouring soap around 130°F into any column mold. |

"Made Embeds" |
COMMENTS: Wow! This one makes a chunky embed. It looks nice embedded in the middle. It is heavier than most embeds, so you will want to have a thicker trace in the mold before laying it in. Also, I had gloves on and stuffed some soap base around the wings in the cracks and crevices BEFORE setting it into the mold. I had no air pockets between this embed and the soap I poured around it. With patience, you can make a special soap with this.

"Love it" |
COMMENTS: I recently purchased this item and made a rainbow butterfly (layers of different colors). I used the clips instructed in the video and had no problems with the mold. Took pictures of the final result before embedding in DF Baby Buttermilk MP in the silicone loaf mold. Customer loved it and shared it on Facebook after she cut it to the thickness she desired. Friends liked it and wanted one themselves.
