Some people say that when a butterfly lands on you it means good luck. Increase your luck with the five beautiful designs in the Guest 5 Butterfly Soap Mold. These creatures are so adorable they might fly off the shelves sooner than you can spell "Metamorphosis."

Milky Way Soap Molds can tolerate temperatures of 135-145 degrees F. Above these temperatures, warping may occur. Soap is easiest to release 12-24 hours after cooling.
Wash molds in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF into mold. Cool until soap has hardened. Remove soap from mold. For easier unmolding, place into freezer for 30 minutes, and then immerse bottom of the mold in hot water for a few moments. Do not use cooking spray to coat mold.
Cold Process Soap: Coat the mold with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into mold. After 24 hours, flip mold over onto a clean surface. Gently push the back of the mold until the soap begins to release then pull the soap out of the mold with a gloved hand. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some CP soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold cavities at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF. Allow mixture to solidify. Flip mold over onto clean surface. Gently push back of mold until lotion bar begins to release then pull bar out of mold.
Care:
Wash in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

COMMENTS: Not my favorite molds. The edges gum up and don't release well. They are ok but I have stopped using them for guest soaps because it's hard to remove them. Use them for shower steamers now.

COMMENTS: I originally got this for melt and pour but I think it would be nice for bath fizzy tabs since they are round. The design is rather short and the rest of the depth is solid, very similar to the lemon rounds. I found that I really need the freezer to get them to pop out though the plastic is heavy duty.

COMMENTS: I got this mold to use for lotion bars, and it worked great. The butterflies are cute, and the mold leaves very sharp designs so the images come across perfectly. The bars come out a bit small for my liking, but that's not the mold's fault. I might look into making some cute guest soaps with it next time.

The description states 1.5 oz bars but I found that filled to the very top that they are only 1 oz.
