COMMENTS: Had this one since summer and thought it was awful oob. Finally made some salt bars with it and still didn't care for it at first, but after curing for two weeks it has developed into the best citrusy scent ever. Just give it time, so good! No A&D, ricing or separation, performed beautifully.

COMMENTS: I didn't know what to expect or why I ordered this frangrace I usually stay away from the unknown but have been searching for a different fragrance to add to my line. This one is my 2nd favorite scent. It held great and true during the cure and had no discoloration. I soaped around 110 and I was able to create a lovely swirl. I open my box for a sniff every time I walk in my soap room! In my way to order a large bottle!

COMMENTS: Because I noticed a few other reviewers mentioning slight acceleration problems with this FO, I soaped at full water and room temperature, and I added the FO when the batter was just emulsified. Turns out I ended up having to wait and wait and wait for the batter to thicken so I could do a hanger swirl - LOL! So it behaves very well and smells very nice. I would agree that it has some peach in it that takes away from the whole Calypso Sun idea, but I still find it a lovely summer fragrance.

COMMENTS: I have never smelled the original scent, so I can't give a comparison of the two. However in comparison to other B&BW scents this is less overpoweringly sweet. It definitely leans towards the acidic, citrus-y side as most have described it smelling like pineapple. To me personally, it doesn't scream pineapple. It's more of a generic citrus scent, which for some people could throw off the tropical vibe. However, on its own the scent is good just not as tropical as I expected.

COMMENTS: Honestly I had this oil a while before using because OOB all I could smell was strong pineapple. I decided to use it in a summer soap though and am pleased so far. I soaped with a basic soap recipe at around 120 degrees. It did accelerate trace a bit I felt making my 4 color swirl more difficult but not impossible- Just be prepared and add fragrance right before pouring your soap in mold. Has not discolored and so far scent seems nice and strong. I used 1oz per pound. Overall a good oil I may use again.

COMMENTS: Wow. This is another out of this world scent. Just like a cocktail on a warm sandy beach, with the little umbrella and all. You can smell all of the fruits. It has peach, mandarin and mango. It holds it scent strong after a long time in the soaps, etc. Wonderful to work with. It smells like the name, Calypso Sun. We really love it.

COMMENTS: Calypso Sun is a unisex scent and is absolutely amazing. One of my all time favorite scents. I include it in a shampoo bar with beach coloration and it sells very well. The scent is very refreshing and reminds me of a day at the shore. It does accelerate trace a bit so don't get too fancy, but it is worth the effort and I will continue using this scent.

COMMENTS: This fragrance is great and it quickly became one of my best selling lines. The scent is fruity but fresh, a happy, strong, but not overpowering citrusy fragrance that makes you want to keep sniffing on your skin. It did great in CP soap, no AC or discoloration, the scent stayed strong and true. In lotions, creams and body butters it is absolutely divine. I am not a fruity fragrance fan, but this one became one of my favorites and it is liked instantly by anyone who smells it. It will stay part of my main line of products as it sold really well all year long.

COMMENTS: Just smelling this FO makes me happy. It is so lovely and fragrant without being overpowering. It's perfect in lotion or a body butter and scrubs. COMMENTS: I purhased a lot of fragrances and this was the one I was least excited about (based on the product description) but it is definitely one of my favorites! It is truly a pretty scent. I used it in soap and I've added it to fractionated coconut oil for my body and hair. I love it!!
