Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF into mold. Cool until soap has hardened. Remove soap from mold. For easier unmolding, place into freezer for 30 minutes, and then immerse bottom of the mold in hot water for a few moments. Do not use cooking spray to coat mold.
Cold Process Soap: Coat the mold with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into mold. After 24 hours, flip mold over onto a clean surface. Gently push the back of the mold until the soap begins to release then pull the soap out of the mold with a gloved hand. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some CP soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold cavities at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF. Allow mixture to solidify. Flip mold over onto clean surface. Gently push back of mold until lotion bar begins to release then pull bar out of mold.
Care:
Wash in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

"What to say about this mold?" |
COMMENTS: A lot of people here love the little soap this mold makes... however I have a hard time with the unmolding. So I took some coconut oil and covered the inside of my mold with it just before use. I love it.

"Just like the jewelry" |
COMMENTS: I pour the face white and then backfill with orange, blue, lavender, lime-even black and they sell like "hotcakes". Customers love the look of old jewelry and comment on a memory it brings back to them. I had to buy another tray of molds to enable me to fill orders coming in. Even though I don't like plastic molds, this one is well worth the small effort to release them.

"Beautiful & so Feminine. " |
COMMENTS: I love the results obtained from this mold. The details are excellent. I made MP soaps in 4 different floral fragrances with four different pastel shades and packaged them in a set. To accentuate the details I used a very thin light gold mica wash with a paintbrush and placed them in a see-through box with tissue paper and each soap in its own pastel cupcake liner. 8 oz. of soap base produced 5 cameos so I was able to make 5 boxed sets of 4 soaps each with 2.5 lbs. of soap. If there is soap left after pouring the cameos I make small sample soaps. At first it can be tricky to push out the middle cameo, even after spritzing liberally with Rubbing alcohol. I suggest letting the soap harden longer or pop in the freezer for a few mins. so the soap is easier to pop out. This design is so beautiful and Victorian-style. Everyone loves the soap made from this mold.

"Makes a beautiful design" |
COMMENTS: These soaps look like real cameos. This makes a beautiful design. I had a little difficulty removing the soaps from this mold but think that was due more to the base I was using. Enjoy working with Milky Way molds.
