COMMENTS: Unfortunately, the scent leans more towards the almond category than cherry. I really do like the fact that it is a very strong scent so it does well in cold process soap, recipes but I just hate the fact that I smell more almonds than cherry in this and I love cherry. I did purchase this type of scent from another vendor and really liked the fact that it was more cherry, so I was a little bit disappointed with this one..

COMMENTS: Out of the bottle, it smells like straight up cherry cough syrup and I get no almond scent. I thought I'd try it anyways since FOs can change once they're in CP soap. I was wrong. These cough syrup scent is so strong that I think I'm going to have to throw out the entire batch. I used it at 3.5% so may a lower % would work?

COMMENTS: I love this fragrance and my customers do too. To me it’s a perfect blend of cherry and almond. I typically use 5-6% fragrance in my soap just depending, I use 4% with this one and it’s plenty. Plan ahead for dark discoloration, my test batch turned chocolate brown. I just separate small amounts to color before I add fragrance to accent the brown.

COMMENTS: I think this smells just like a jar of maraschino cherries. It does discolor, so plan for that. I found that it accelerated a little bit, but it could have been that I stick blended it too much. I did buy another huge jar because the smell is delightful.

COMMENTS: I bought this for my mother in law, as she loves Cherry Almond. It is a fantastic smell that I love, but I will say it is a bit heavier on the cherry notes than most cherry almond scents on the market.

COMMENTS: I bought this because I thought it would smell like jergens lotion. OOB is smells so good but it doesn’t smell like the aforementioned lotion. It is a straight dupe for almond extract you bake with... i soaped with it as soon as it arrived and it behaved very nicely. Everyone thought I was baking something in the oven, but I said ‘nope, just soaping :)‘. This scent makes me crave cake. However, I hope it does mellow out to a more balanced cherry almond finish. Crossing fingers!

COMMENTS: This would be 5 stars if it was not for the fact that it discolored in blotches, by that I mean it got super dark in the middle and not as dark on the edges (I have never had this in any CP coap with a high Vanillin%). That being said, this smells devine! I was actually disappointed OOB because it was more like Amaretto vs sweet cherry, but after cure it smells very sweet and cherry, which is what I wanted!
I plan on using this in other applications because it smells so good. We will see what my customers think!

Some smell almond and think it smells like cherries itself, but I find it has that fabulous almond smell and the cherry adds more of that classic cherry scent you'd expect to it. I just add the extra almond as a personal preference as to me it gives it a more "adult" aroma...however the cherry is by no means overpowering. Big favorite!

COMMENTS: This was my first time trying Cherry Almond FO and I must say that I LOVE IT. After reading reviews about this fragrance accelerating trace, I decided to make a small batch with my soap recipe to see how it would behave. I was thoroughly impressed. I had no acceleration or ricing. I actually wanted a thick trace for a technique that I was doing, so I had to blend, blend, blend. The cherry AND the almond scent comes through very well. This fragrance was very concentrated so you don't need to use much. I use .7 of my oils, so next time I will use less as it isn't needed. Will definitely add this to my year-round line.

COMMENTS: I am so glad I tried this fragrance oil! Not only does this smell amazing but it is so versatile - I have labeled it under its name (Cherry Almond), Maraschino Delight, Grandma's Spritz Cookies, and more! Use it on the light side for a 'Jergens Lotion' scent (something my grandmother always used - oh, the memories). I use this with my soap formulations what have higher levels of soft oils and soap at room-temp to prevent acceleration - and use vanilla stabilizer at the recommended rate to control discoloration that can arise from the vanillin content. The strength of this fragrance oil help give you a little more bang for your buck! I highly recommend you give this one a try...just plan ahead to ensure you get the results you are looking for.

COMMENTS: Whatever anyone else says about this scent it is a BIG SELLER! And yes not strong Cherry scent, but the Almond more then makes up for it, and I smell vanilla too. It's very sweet!!!!1 By far making CP soap for a year now, considered still a newbe this behaved the best out of all the FO'S I've ever used! First time I used a recipe of mainly hard oils, and it was perfect, second time I used a Bastile recipe and wonderfully behaved so that I can do some intricate designs with plenty of time to do whatever I wanted. It is also a very strong scent so I only use 2oz. for a 3.5lb batch. In M&P I would use it very sparingly.
HOWEVER beware this has 7% vanilla, so it will turn your soap brown, second batch I used a lot of TD, HOPEFULLY it will help. I only scented one half so I can get colored designs I wanted. The scent is strong enough to be half scented. I would highly recommend this as a keeper FO.

COMMENTS: This was a pleasure and has fast become one of my favorites. I will say the cherry is subtle, and comparing it to Jergens is just a way to describe it. I got more of a natural almond smell, with a slight cherry hint. It came out very strong and lovely, definitely a try for almond lovers.

COMMENTS: I have used this FO for a long time. It soaps perfectly, and is a strong non-fading fragrance. It soaps well in CP and CPOP- though it does discolor the soap (stabilizer works if you like to use it). I don't use the stabilizer - my customers like the dark reddish color. At one ounce per pound this scent is SUPER SUPER Strong- you can go .7 easily. Love this fragrance it is a consistent top seller year round. I get the shakes when it's out of stock. YOU WILL LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE.

I make this is CP soap and the scent is fantastic once cured properly. You can smell the cherry with a nice light scent of almond instead of some that I've tried where the almond was overbearing. This is a perfect scent.
