COMMENTS: My son-in-law loves brownies so I made a square pan of Chocolate scented soap as his Christmas gift. I didn't use a vanilla stabilizer, so by the time he got them they were a nice dark brown. When he opened the box he was excited and said "I can't believe your Mom gave me a whole pan of brownies, they smell so good but I'm not eating them now because I don't want to share them". May daughter said "you can't eat those" "Why not" indignantly, "because it's soap". SOAP! Tell your Mom "that was a dirty trick". Family members are still teasing him about brownies.

COMMENTS: This fragrance oil smells exactly like a chocolate cake! I used it in M&P ultra clear soap base for my 3 year old granddaughter. It smells so good I was afraid she might try to eat it. Since I used it with the Neon Color Blocks, I did not have any problems with it discoloring my soap. Now my 10 year old granddaughter has asked me to make her a lip balm with this scent. This oil is definitely popular among my grandkids & even my Dad likes it. Have a feeling I'm going to be using this fragrance a lot.

COMMENTS: it will change your color in your clear melt and pour but if you are using color that will not matter at all. this smell ust like cake mix in the amber bottle but after a day or two sitting in soap it smells like cinnamon or the big red chewing gum .

COMMENTS: I use this in my melt and pour soap cupcakes with vanilla almond frosting and OMG!!! It smells good enough to eat! It discolors to a yummy shade of milk chocolate brown, which I love because that means that I don't have to add any colorants to the batter!

In case you did not want the discoloring, try our Crafter's Choice Vanilla Color Stabilizer (it is available for CP Soap, MP Soap and Lotions/Washes as well). This fragrance has 10% vanilla content. The stabilizer prevents the vanilla in fragrance oils from turning soap formulations brown. It will not prevent color changes due to ingredients other than vanilla. It works very well - we use it often. |
