COMMENTS: Soaped at room temperature (68F) using a bastille recipe and got almost instant soap on a stick. Responds well to rebatch. Good scent retention. Doesn't smell like a cucumber or mint. Much sweeter more like what bath and body industry tells us cucumber smells like. Not unpleasant. Everyone seems to like it.

COMMENTS: I have absolutely no idea what this smells like, but it's definitely not cucumber and it's definitely not fresh mint! There is a chance my sense of smell is defective. I do however pick up the geranium. Regardless, the fragrance itself is pleasant and uplifting. I find it smells like a generic shampoo/body wash.
I've used this in melt and pour projects only, at a medium strength. It's still very potent after 8 months or so. It's really nice with a crystal clear sea glass color soap!

COMMENTS: This fragrance is absolutely delightful!! But it is NOT meant for cold process. If you’ve already purchased it for cold process w/out reading the reviews like I failed to do; your best bet is to stick with one or no color at all, and pour this fragrance in as your very last step. Put your stick blender on “Hi” and get it in that mold as fast as possible. It’ll probably seize mid pour.

"Smells Great! Accelerates Trace Very Quickly" |

COMMENTS: I used this FO for the first time in a tried and true CP recipe at a rate of .5 oz PPO. Started with oils at room temp, used thermal transfer from the lye water (120 degrees) to melt the coconut oil in this mix. Checked temp once the oils and lye were throughly mixed (90 degrees). No sign of trace until I added the FO, then BAM! It very nearly turned to jello in the pot almost as soon as I stopped mixing. I beat it into submission with my stick blender and immediately poured it into the mold.
I would not recommend this FO to anyone planning to do a multi-colored swirl. You won't have time to do it.

COMMENTS: I read the other reviews that warned the FO may seize and took steps to minimize the risk. I mixed the FO into my base oils along with the color using a stick blender. Also soaped at 90 degrees which is about 15 lower than I normally use. It worked beautifully. I love this scent.

COMMENTS: My mom's favorite scent is cucumber melon, but that's been done to death...so I picked this up with my last order just to try it, and it is so so so fresh and light and lovely! I don't really get the mint, but that's ok with me -- it has a sweetness to it that really makes for a great experience in soap or bath bombs!
