Natural Cupuacu Butter has a high capacity for water absorption therefore making it an excellent emollient for cosmetic formulations. This butter sweet nutty aroma considered pleasant to many consumers. Thought to leave the skin feeling moisturized. Pronounced: Coo-paa-sue.

Directions:
DIRECTIONS: Slowly stir melted product into the oil portion of your formulation. Common use levels are lip products 5-100%, cold process soap 3-6%, lotions and creams 3-5%, hair conditioners 2-5%. Can be applied directly to the skin.
TIPS: The average melting point for the butter is 90-98°F. Butters provide moisturizing properties to products. To minimize greasy after feel we recommend blending with 1-3% cornstarch or isopropyl myristate. Test your final product to insure optimal performance.
STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase.
CAUTION: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

COMMENTS: As melting using double boiler method, I noticed tiny blue particles sinking to the bottom of the large glass measuring cup. I didn't add any Shea butter or Coco butter as of yet because Cupuasu butter is harder & takes longer to melt. Couldn't use in that batch. Tried again later only to find the same but this time I noticed it before melting. Disappointed at best because of the cost of this product. Question? Where's all the reviews on this website ie. Recent. All reviews on most every product is at least 3 yrs. Old. I don't trust a website that doesn't have updated reviews.

COMMENTS: We made 2 different whips out of this butter, using it as the base. Depending on your formula and how you treat the final product you get either a creamy whip or a creamy balm. Either way our customers LOVE IT! It goes on light but stays long. Has a natural chocolate scent to it but it took our fragrance well.

COMMENTS: Cupuacu Butter can be very expensive when you're trying to incorporate it into your butters, but this Cupuacu Butter is really good quality. It is very soft and easy to melt, and works wonders even by itself. I love the texture, it's just a little harder than Avocado Butter, but not by much. Great job. The price is also very good compared to other places, especially with free shipping.

COMMENTS: I LOVE this butter. I have started substituting it out for Shea Butter at a 50% ratio and love the results. It isn't greasy like Shea Butter, it soaks into your skin much nicer. It makes the best lip balms and butters. I just wish I could find more recipes using this butter.

COMMENTS: Love that this butter possesses a softer, creamier consistency than using Cocoa Butter, and it offers exceptional moisturization for the skin...in particular to aid in helping to fight against dry & cracked winter skin, dermatitis, Eczema, Psoriasis, KP and other skin conditions. COMMENTS: Love, love love! This butter is used in my lotions and lip balms. It smells very similar to cocoa butter, but I read that it has the moisturizing properties of lanolin, but is not an animal by-product. It find that it is the consistency of shea, it's not as hard as cocoa. Definitely try it...it's worth the money!
