Detergent Free Aloe & Olive MP Soap Base - 10 lb Block

International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI):
Sorbitol, Sodium Cocoate, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Stearate, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Olea (Olive) Europaea Fruit Oil, Yellow 5, Green 5.

Common Name Ingredient Listing (FDA Approved):
Sorbitol, Coconut Oil, Propylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Glycerin, Olive Oil, Aloe Vera, Yellow 5, Green 3.

Directions:

MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.

MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a Crafter's Choice mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.

ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!

CAUTION: Melted soap is hot!  For ages 15 and older.

"Good Quality" COMMENTS:  This is a good quality base compared to some other brands I've gotten. It melts easily and sets up well. While it may have a tint to it, it's actually relatively clear. "I'm happy with this product." COMMENTS:  I'm fairly new to soap making...and the first base I started with was SFIC. I knew I wanted to keep it as natural as possible...and that was the only one I could find at the time. I wasn't unhappy with it...(although, it does leave a soap ring in the sink or tub) I wanted to explore with other bases that didn't contain sulfates. So, I came across this detergent free base. I really like it and most important...my family and friends likes it. It rinses clean...and leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. Also, no soap ring in the sink or tub! It holds fragrance/colors well...and it's easy to work with. I'm happy with this soap base...and I'll be buying it over...and over again. Great price too. "Love It!" COMMENTS:  Very nice base. I however do still wrap it. I find that it does sweat, not like the other bases, but I don't like the look of the sweating.I love how clear it is, and that it contains the wonderful Olive Oil and Aloe Vera in the base. Staff Answer When describing your soap, maybe try saying they are free of synthetic ingredients like harsh detergents and parabens. Staff Answer Adding oils to MP soap will cut down on the amount of lather the soap creates. If you feel you want to add an additional oil, we recommend starting with .5-1% and then checking the lather.
