Our Baby Buttermilk Melt and Pour Soap Base is a detergent free base that is white in color. It contains buttermilk, oatmeal, calendula extract, and real natural honey for exemplary moisturizing benefits. The ten-pound block makes (40) 4 oz. bars of soap and measures 12" x 11" x 2.25". This soap has a creamy bubble lather.

Directions:
MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.
MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a Crafter's Choice mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.
ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!
CAUTION: Melted soap is hot! For ages 15 and older.

COMMENTS: I love this buttermilk more than any soap I’ve used. At first I was surprised to see how it was shipped to me (in a bag placed in a box) but I chopped it into pieces and put in into a tote. This made it SO much easier to use! Whenever I made a new soap, I just grabbed a few chunks of already-cut soap base and started weighing. It saves so much time! Buying in bulk is the way to go.

COMMENTS: This is one of my most favorite soap bases. It’s creamy and makes your skin so soft after using. Plus it has great ingredients in it. I add goats milk soap to mine. It’s easy to cut and easy to work with. Although it’s detergent free, it lathers up nicely. This will also be my go to soap!

COMMENTS: The majority of my soaps are baby shower favors from this soap base. I love how easy it is to work with and creamy it seems. FO, Kaolin clay, stabilizer and micas blend really well. Will buy this base every time for by baby shower favors. I also pair it with the Baby Bees FO smells just like a baby after a bath.

COMMENTS: I love this MP base. It gives a nice creamy lather, melts and pours evenly and gives a consistent bar. It works well with embeds or as an embed. It takes scent and color nicely. When combined with the Baby Bee scent, it makes a nice bar similar to Burt's Bees baby soap.
