Our Three Butter Melt and Pour Soap Base is a detergent free soap base that is opaque and white in color. Luxuriate skin with the moisturizing properties of Shea butter, cocoa butter, and mango butter. The 23 pound big block is ideal for larger projects, as it will make (92) 4 oz. bars of soap. Soap comes in a blue bag with twist tie and corrugate box. A single block measures 13 x 11.5 x 6 inches.

Directions:
MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.
MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a Crafter's Choice mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.
ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!
CAUTION: Melted soap is hot! For ages 15 and older.

COMMENTS: I use this is my M&P swirl soap. It takes a littler longer to set, giving me time to create my swirls. The feel of this soap is amazing, soft, silky, and smooth!! I had been using a different base, then switched to this. My husband, friends, family and customers could all tell the difference, in a good way! I will never go back to anything else.

COMMENTS: I absolutely love the creamy lather of this base. My skin feels clean but not squeaky clean like most commercial soaps. The goat milk base has always been my favourite but this base is also very good. I do find it takes a longer time to harden than other bases. But I will purchase again!

COMMENTS: I know its detergent free, but it doesnt lather at all.. doesn't feel like its really working to clean your hands and our customers have said the same. Will be changing our stock over to the 3 butter plus soap instead!

COMMENTS: For this soap to be detergent free, it produces a big lather. It's very skin softening and highly moisturizing. Makes skin silky. I think I like it just as much if not more than the goats milk soap. Ordering the rage 48 pounds is the way to go! It's hard work cutting it up and storing but you get the most bang for your buck!

COMMENTS: I buy it in the block only because of price. Like most folks, I hate cutting up the block. I have found that using a rocker blade is easier and safer than hacking away at the block with a large kitchen knife.
I like the base because my skin feels softer after using the soap. It melts very nicely, colors well and takes scent well. I like being able to tell customers that it contains mango, shea and cocoa butters.

COMMENTS: I haven't use the soap that I made but my son in law has and he kept asking for more. He said less suds but the soap do what it was suppose to do. He is loving it and his skin was so moist he did not need a lotion. I love the fact that it was detergent free. Cutting a block can be challenging but that what husbands are for right! I am going to cut them into chunks and save them in my 5 gallon bucket so it will be easier to use when I am ready for it.

COMMENTS: Boy cutting up a 24lb block of this is a challenge and an half! Took several hours..lol. Made a cucumber melon loaf with this and swirled with 3 colors. This soap is really manageable at a low temp. I was able to do the swirl at around 112-115F without a heavy skin. Seems to hold scent wonderfully. This soap has a lovely amount of lather and I love the mango, shea and cocoa butter in it. Will definitely buy again!

COMMENTS: A great soap base for M&P soap for when we are a big rush and can not do our normal cold process soaps. This three butter soap base contains Shea, cocoa and mango butters which are wonderful. This is truly the best base there is. It is a mimic of our own cold process. We add one more butter to this and some tussah silk but this has creamy lather and the is skin softening on it's own. A true bargain for M&P soapers. It is difficult to work work with the huge blocks but still the best bargain out there. We make our own and have big amounts so we are used to this size anyway.

COMMENTS: This base makes your skin so soft! The lather is slightly less than the clear melt and pour, but it's no big deal.
The soap sets up beautifully (I live in a dry climate). The faint scent smells great, but certain fragrances make it smell better than others. Sweet fruity or food scents smell even better when mixed into this base. I find it very easy to suspend exfoliants in this, too. Add at about 120 degrees and stir well.

COMMENTS: This MP is pretty good compared to other company's MP. While theirs sweats horribly, I only get a sticky/tacky feeling with this one that lasts about two days. After that then it doesn't sweat at all. BE CAREFUL when melting as I accidentally pushed 2:00min instead of :20sec and while I didn't notice any immediate issues, the embeds that I made with it sweat TERRIBLY. I had to throw them away because they were literally covered in sweat. Can be very drying but I only use a bit for embeds in CP so it's not noticeable.

"The perfect base for beginning!" |

COMMENTS: The base arrived within a few days. Not paying shipping for 24 lbs of soap is a definite plus! It is super heavy, and I removed it from the box. It is wrapped in plastic and may stick in a few spots. Just open the bag and cut of chunks at a time as you use it. It is best to melt the soap after you weight how much you are using, then cut into ice cube tray size cubes to melt it evenly and quickly. It is wonderful and creamy. I made tons of soap with different oils and scents. It is consistently a terrific soap base and well liked by customers.
Adding color to the white base makes for a super pretty soap. More color may be needed than with transluscent, but it produces a vivid or muted color depending on what you want.
The skin feels wonderful with this soap, and I find it is great for shaving and face wash as well!

COMMENTS: I got a little wigged out by the bag this past time I ordered it. A lot of the soap ended up sticking to the plastic bag, but this is still an awesome base. I used to use the sampler kits, but my clientele chose this out of the variety. It holds up in humid environments and sets really well! Basically, if you aren't making high volumes to sell however, I'd really suggest you purchase the smaller versions as it's kind of hard to cut this block and get all of the product off of the bag.

COMMENTS: This MP soap is wonderful. I was very surprised at how much I would like it. I get nothing but rave reviews everytime i use some of this for product. leaves the skin soft and supple and holds fragrance oils beautifully.
It does sweat a bit in the hotter months (especially with A/C on) but does fantastic in the fall and winter months (I live in AZ). This really is my go to MP soap for when I'm not making or waiting for my CP soap to cure. my favorite of all things is there is no detergents in this soap. No SLS! Big, big deal! Love that.

COMMENTS: I love being able to offer SLS-free soap to my customers, and the additional moisturizing butters are an added bonus. Because the detergent-free soap bases take longer to harden, I find they're much easier to work with when detailing small areas in a mold -- I don't have to constantly re-melt the soap or clean the injector tool of hardened soap. I do find, however, that I have to use more colorant to achieve the same effect than I did with the Ultra White soap base -- a small price to pay in exchange for all the benefits!

"Great Soap Base! Low Sweat And Very Popular" |

COMMENTS: I use the three butter detergent-free base for my etsy store and have gotten great feedback! I have almost no sweat at all with my bars and the base works very well with additives like goat milk, liquid pigments, and fragrance oils. I have left several bars unwrapped for weeks with no sweat at all! The best part was that with one 24lb block I was able to make about 60 6oz bars and about 48oz of sugar cube scrubs.
I highly recommend this base to anyone who is looking for a semi-soft, moisturizing soap. It's easy to use, very reliable, and amazingly smooth on your skin!

COMMENTS: This sounded great to try out, so I bought 24 pounds. GONE!! This has sold so fast it has been unreal. It is cream smooth, not a lot of bubbles when you pour into molds. I did grate another color and placed it in the bottom of the mold, and sprayed with alcohol, then placed a bit of lower temperature soap over the gratings of another color, sprayed with alcohol again, and then filled the mold. Lovely......I am back to order more!! Be certain to order more than you think you'll like, it goes fast!!

COMMENTS: I ordered this because it was on sale and a customer was looking for a base that was a close to cold process as possible. I wound up carving the soaps by hand and was so surprised at how wonderful it was to work with. It takes fragrance very well and melts much quicker than other bases I have used. It does take considerably longer to cool which is something to adjust for in larger batches. I am ordering more for the re-order the original customer!

COMMENTS: I have always made cold process, but after reading the reviews on this, I just had to give it a try.
Craft shows are coming up and I don't have time to wait 4-6 weeks for curing to get product on the shelf. So I made my first loaf yesterday using embeds and decorating the top as I usually would. I used several citrus fragrances and didn't have to worry about seizing! Pouring was a snap. The end result is are gorgeous bars of soap that smell devine. Already used a bar to wash my face before bed last night.
Hard bar, but good suds. Fantastic product. I will continue to do cold process, but will be making batches of this in between for sure. Glad I tried it!

COMMENTS: I've tried several different melt and pour bases and this one by far gives the best results. The soap has a beautiful creamy texture and produces a nice lather. It blends well with all my additives and holds suspensions well as long as it's slightly cooled. I used this base in August and didn't have any sweating issues at all. The "triple butter" in this base lends a luxurious element to my soap names and labels, too. Not to mention, the price is the lowest I've seen anywhere!

COMMENTS: I love working with MP. There are so many possibilities. This 3 butter soap is super nice but I still have problems with sweat, even on low sweat soap. One person told me they only buy low sweat MP and the trick is to heat it up slow and not keep it on a high temperature. They claim to never have sweat problems then. I'm going to try that. In winter, I never have sweat problems with this soap so for summer, I hope I can achieve the same.
