Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Close the mold by firmly pressing the edges together. For added safety, clamp the edges. Slowly pour melted soap no hotter than 130ºF into mold. Allow soap to harden then open mold and remove soap. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Embed soap into a loaf or slice into bars.
Cold Process Soap: Close the mold by firmly pressing the edges together, and clamp the edges. Slowly pour traced soap into mold. After at least 24 hours, open mold and remove soap with gloved hands. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Embed soap into a loaf or slice into bars. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Care: Hand wash mold in warm, sudsy water.

"Just the right size " |
COMMENTS: I am using these as embeds in my cold process creating soaps for a baby shower. The only thing that I would suggest is make sure you have clamps on both sides as the mold can pop open. Makes great little duck embeds

"This duck is so cute" |
COMMENTS: This mold makes cute little duck soaps that I give to my grandkids and donate to a local church. The quality is excellent. I do sometimes have a little trouble getting it sealed right, but that is also with other column molds. I have arthritis in my hands so I'm sure that doesn't help. I am very happy with this mold.

"Really cute ducky " |
COMMENTS: I would have given it 5 stars if it didn't get a split in it after 3 uses. The split does not impact the functionality of the mold, it is in the corner of the thick part of the seal. The mold seals very well all the way around, it's easier to get a good seal if you start at 1 end and work your way around. I place my mold in a larger container with a towel so I can go through the gel phase and so the mold stands without falling over. I don't know that it would but I don't want to chance it. I pour at a light medium trace and have not had any issue with leaking. The mold releases very easy. I use this to imbed in another soap batter so I tend to rush the curing process but I have not had any release issues. The soaps are large on their own and could be sliced and used or shaped slightly. Overall I am very satisfied and will purchase another.

"Not just for embeds!" |
COMMENTS: I used this mold to make baby shower favors. The duckies were the perfect size to fit in a 3x4" organza bag. The mold was very easy to use, but with the hot process soap the mold did come apart at the bottom as I filled to the top. I don't think this would happen with cold process. The mold released the soap easily and was easy to clean. I should have bought another!

"Well made" |
COMMENTS: I ordered this mold when it was on sale and let me just say how pleased I am with the purchase. It's not cheaply made. It is made out of high quality, thick silicone. It closes and snaps well to prevent leaks. Highly recommend the mold. Wash by hand.

"So Fun To Add Shapes Into Soaps" |
COMMENTS: I love all of the silicone column molds. It is kind of tricky when you first start using them as you have to make sure you have them well sealed all the way around, but once you master that, it is a breeze. I love putting them in my M & P loves for added character in my bars.

"Cute duck" |
COMMENTS: I am using this in a soap made with duck fat. It is cute, and a great size. The only thing I don't like is that you have to use binder clips to hold it together. Otherwise, it is a great mold.

"very cute" |
COMMENTS: this made very cute imbed for a special order for a baby shower. I would recommend having file clamps on the sides to hold together, I had more than one mishap with mold popping apart and hot soap all over but once I put clamps on it worked wonderful.

"Easy to mold" |
COMMENTS: I made a duck from clear melt and pour. I inserted this into my cold process soap.
It's a big hit.
The mold is very easy to use.
This mold is large enough to slice and sell without embedding in other soap.

"My little duck mold" |
COMMENTS: When I saw this column silicon soap mold for the little duck, I just had to have it. I ordered two right away because my tall and skinny mold is 14" long. I just unmolded, and after putting them in the freezer for a short time, they came out perfect! I can't wait to make cp soap tomorrow and see how my little ducky looks in the mold. Thanks for another wonderful mold!
