COMMENTS: I really wanted to love this, but it is very light, even used at max amount in CPOP. It has a rather odd scent to it, it's not really "fire" I smell, it's more like the smell of old wood. I'm giving it a 3 star because it did perform very nicely, it's just not for me...at all.

COMMENTS: Was a dream to work with in cold process. Mixed with marshmallow for Marbling Technique, Cold Process Soap Making, (Technique Video #9). Soaped at 90degrees with water discount. Great scent retention, held up in cpop and throughout cure.

COMMENTS: Absolutely love this FO. Requested by a volunteer fireman to make a soap from his favorite candle scent. This FO is an exact match to his candle. Soap was donated to the Firehouse and everyone has loved the smell. No acceleration or discoloration. At all. I soap with a 1:1 lye/water ratio at 75-85 degrees.

COMMENTS: A lovely fragrance, believe it or not! Great mixed with Mediterranean Fig. Cant believe how quickly I burned thru my first bottle of this. It's a wispy scent that comes and goes with each layer. I recommend this fragrance highly!

"Wonderful, Masculine Fragrance" |

COMMENTS: I bought this with my husband in mind, because he loves scents like this. He loved it! (We actually lived on a street called Fireside for almost 10 years, so that's pretty cool!) It behaved beautifully and has so far kept it's scent, with just a few weeks left in the curing process! I will definitely purchase again!

COMMENTS: smells just as expected, worked well in all my different wax blends w/ a good throw cold and hot. Customers like it - sells well in plain clamshells - no fancy designs to sway their decision. Will need more soon. :)

COMMENTS: I make para-soy melts. I bought this because I wanted the scent of a fireplace. This scent oob is super strong almost gagging. The scent is so strong of fire and almost of soot or ashes. I made a batch and let them cure then melted one. It was so mild and slowly traveled through the room. I quite liked it! You would not want this scent to be super strong because of the strong notes it has so it was just enough to make one think there was a real fire burning low and slow. I named this Crackling Fire not knowing there was also a Crackling Fire. I just purchased the Crackling Fire to compare the two.
I had also bought a fire scent from 2 other companies. One I loved a lot but it was too weak. The other was SO strong and smelled of ashes. I didn't even try it.

COMMENTS: This smells just like a fresh cut stack of wood ready to be thrown in the fireplace. When my husband smelled the bottle, he said it smelled a little like cigarette ashes to him (I didn't notice it), but once he smelled the soap he loved it. He keeps going back and smelling it again lol! No ricing, no acceleration, and I used dark colors so I didn't notice any discoloration.

It does discolor the soap a slight amount but I generally add goats milk to my soaps, so the batter is a bit discolored anyhow.

COMMENTS: I used this recently in a cold process soap recipe and fell in love with it. It's earthy, but not overpowering. Has great staying power in both cold process and hot process soaps. I plan on using it in Bath Salts and Milk Bath recipes. Would make a wonderful candle scent for Fall and Winter.

COMMENTS: This scent smells just like a campfire. It is a little weaker so you have to use a little more in your soap. I used it in MP and it does make a clear base very cloudy. I do like this one though, I'd buy it again. To me it has a true outdoors fire smell.
