Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF into mold. Cool until soap has hardened. Remove soap from mold, and slice into bars. For easier unmolding, place into freezer for 30 minutes, and then immerse bottom of the mold in hot water for a few moments. Do not use cooking spray to coat mold.
Cold Process Soap: Coat the mold with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into mold. After 24 hours, flip mold over onto a clean surface. Gently push the back of the mold until the soap begins to release then pull the soap out of the mold with a gloved hand. Slice into bars. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF. Allow mixture to solidify. Flip mold over onto clean surface. Gently push back of mold until lotion bar begins to release then pull bar out of mold. Slice into lotion bars.
Care:
Wash in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

"Pretty but too Hard to Unmold" |
COMMENTS: This is a gorgeous mold that makes gorgeous soap. However. It's just simply too hard to unmold to make it worth using. I really had to fight to get my soap out of here, even after using a knife to cut the sides. I want to use it again because it really does make gorgeous soap, but the fight to unmold it makes it too hard.

"Milky Way Floral Wallpaper Soap Mold Tray MW 184" |
COMMENTS: These make beautiful soaps - simple one color or multi color MP soap looks great when molded in these. I hadn't thought about the fact that the outside edges are at a bit of an angle but a simple slice with my knife removed the outside 'angled' wall/side/edge so all 4 sides were even steven and all was perfect. Have sold loads of soaps from this mold - customers really enjoy this look. I love to add a bit of gold MP to some of the curves b4 pouring in the rest of the soap - adds just enough umph to catch the eye. Have fun!

"Lovely mold!" |
COMMENTS: I love this mold, and so my clients. I prefer silicone molds because they are easier to handle with soap, but this one is good and has a beautiful pattern. I recommend it.

"Just incredible" |
COMMENTS: I love this mold so much -- sooooooo much! I have too many molds at this point (might need to seek professional help), so I've hardly used it, but I LOVE it. I need more hours in the day -- and more mold storage. This, like many of Catherine's designs, looks like it was carved from wood, like an old German cookie or butter mold. I'd love to see this pattern in a bar mold, with wrap-around sides so that the design is on the sides, too.
