"Trees without the Pine" |

COMMENTS: I hate the smell of pine. It's gross to me. But this... this I like and it satisfies my husbands love of pine and trees. Became a quick seller in cold process soap. Soaped wonderfully. Did an in the pot swirl with 2 different greens and topped with white. No discoloration noticed. Scent retention was good. Even a year later it still smells just as strong and then in use it gets even stronger. Just purchased a larger bottle for the holiday season.

COMMENTS: I was very disappointed when I had opened the bottle but after using the scent in my MP process. I was extremely surprised at how pleased I was with this scent. I do plan on using this FO again.

"Everyone's New Favorite! Sticks well in CP!" |

COMMENTS: Everyone who smells this scent loves it. It does have a somewhat Christmas-y scent to it, but there's undertones of other scents that make it totally useable year round. It's neutral enough that its neither masculine nor girly.
Behaved as described and STICKS really well in CP soap at 5%.
It would be great if it was a tad stronger which would allow you to use a bit less and make it more cost effective.

COMMENTS: This one is a mix review. I have as many that like this that don't like it. Its a 50/50 win. I think its great for the winter and holiday. Not sure i would buy this again.

COMMENTS: This scent makes for a wonderful mixer (let alone as well) with any of the other snow scents. It's definitely going to be added to my product line. Its so fresh and clean. Just like you're in a snowy mountain forest. The juniper is subtle, yet distinct.

COMMENTS: I purchase fragrance oils predominately for use in wax tarts, I use a paraffin/soy votive blend, and in paraffin candles. I could tell from the OOB scent of this one that I'd love it. I poured a large batch of tarts using 1.5oz/lb and the scent literally disappeared. As in ZERO fragrance. I was irritated, but I've learned over the years that occasionally a scent will do this but then come back if left to sit with a bit of cure time, so I kept my fingers crossed. For about the first 24 hours I literally couldn't smell much of anything, but after that, the scent began to return. At that point, I thought it was just going to end up being a very, very mellow scent and contemplated melting them all down and bumping the fragrance load up to 2oz/lb. Instead, I just waited a few more days. After a week of sitting in my curing room, I opened a pack one day and was SHOCKED at the beautiful scent that greeted me! I tell you all of this because this scent has turned out to be a best seller for me, but it definitely needs some cure time - at least in the wax blend I use. I love that it's cool and crisp without being sharp or cologne-y, the balance of the birch and juniper here is perfect. It's faintly sweet, cool, and refreshing. This will definitely be a cool weather staple in my retail shop!

"Just what I was looking for!" |

COMMENTS: Frosted Birch & Juniper reminds me of my home in Alaska- just what this homesick woman needed! I was super impressed with the behavior of this fragrance in cold process soap- it definitely slowed trace, leaving me plenty of time to work on intricate swirls.

COMMENTS: I was looking for a scent that had that fresh snowy smell with that crisp scent and not a lot of pine. This really was exactly what I was looking for. I wasn't the biggest fan of it OOB but once it cured, it really highlighted some undertones you miss in the bottle. I thought it was going to smell too much like pine but it really has more of a snowy forest kind of smell. I had an issue with my batch, completely unrelated to the fragrance oil, but it still turned out and the smell is great and not overwhelming. I would use this again in the future, especially if you want a winter smell but not too much pine.

"Winter in the forest! " |

COMMENTS: Just received this F.O. and it is a great cool weather scent. Like a walk in the forest in winter. It's refreshing and cool and I love the juniper notes. I made CP soap cupcakes with this today and piped Christmas trees on top. It soaped wonderfully and even the piping stayed a great consistency the entire time. I made 24 cupcakes and piping can take a little while so I was quite happy it behaved so well. No problems with acceleration at all or ricing. Will definitely purchase this again. Great for the upcoming holiday season.

COMMENTS: This fragrance isn't necessarily 'winter' or all that frosted in its character, but it is definitely an outdoor fragrance that is realistic and enjoyable. The juniper is noticeable, and overall, the candle smells fresh, but not overpowering. Many people like this one!

"A truly Winter fragrance" |

COMMENTS: At first it was the name that attracted me for a real seasonal fragrance. I was delighted when it arrived, and my customers were equally delighted - some said it smelled like Christmas and others thought it felt like walking through a winter forest. In short, it is a winner that behaves beautifully in CP in CPOP and in HP.

COMMENTS: Maybe it was a combination of the spiced cranberry and frosted cranberries with this FO, but I had the fastest and HOTTEST acceleration I've ever experienced. But at least my soap smells incredible. I had a slight yellow discoloration, but nothing a little TD doesn't fix. Too bad it isn't very pretty because it got so thick and hot instantly. I'll just spruce it up with nice packaging.
