Make way for yet another goat in the Milky Way fold! We've gotten many requests for a guest-size goat bar so we're happy to oblige.

Milky Way Soap Molds can tolerate temperatures of 135ºF to145ºF. Above these temperatures, warping may occur. Soap is easiest to release 12-24 hours after cooling.
Wash molds in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF into mold. Cool until soap has hardened. Remove soap from mold, and slice into bars. For easier unmolding, place into freezer for 30 minutes, and then immerse bottom of the mold in hot water for a few moments. Do not use cooking spray to coat mold.
Cold Process Soap: Coat the mold with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into mold. After 24 hours, flip mold over onto a clean surface. Gently push the back of the mold until the soap begins to release then pull the soap out of the mold with a gloved hand. Slice into bars. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF. Allow mixture to solidify. Flip mold over onto clean surface. Gently push back of mold until lotion bar begins to release then pull bar out of mold. Slice into lotion bars.
Care:
Wash in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

"Make little hotel soaps!" |

COMMENTS: I am just starting out with M&P and I purchased some of the goat's milk base and this mold. I only wanted to play around with 1lb, and I was pleased that I ended up with 15 usable small bars, similar to the thin wrapped hotel soaps. The soap popped out easily after cooling for a few hours.

"Excellent Mold " |

COMMENTS: I have used this mold to make both melt and pour soaps, cold process, and hot process soaps. It was easy to mold the finished soaps and made perfectly sized guest bars and sample bars that my customers love.

COMMENTS: Love this mold. I have 2 and I'm thinking about getting another.i sell alot of them at the shop. It's a plastic mold so if you use it alot they may crack. One of mine has a crack in it, but just a little bit f the soap leaks through so I still use it. The size of the soap is great for new customers to try your products out for a smaller price. And normal lu get more than one to get a variety if Fragrances

COMMENTS: I love this mold. I let it sit on a flat surface for about three hours, then popped it in the freezer for about twenty minutes, turned upside down on a piece of foil and rub the top with my hand. In a minute or so it came out clean and in tact. I forgot to mention that before i used it i wipe the letters and the inside of the mold with a paper towel with sweet almond oil on it. Just the first time with the oil and it comes out very clean each time so far.
