"Great addition" |
COMMENTS: I added this to my latest formulation for natural deodorant (which there isn’t a choice for on the “Primary Use” part of the review form) for sensitive skin. I wanted the extra boost of deodorizing it added, as well as using it as a natural colorant. I used it at 1% and it’s been a great addition. Even my husband likes this blend!

"I love this clay!!" |
COMMENTS: This is such a unique and beautiful clay! I love the way it turns out in CP soap. It has a nice little exfoliation, similar to the super fine-grain walnut shell powder you can get. Maybe a tad less scrubby than that. It makes a gorgeous soft blue-green color, even with just 1/2 T per pound of soap.

"Too coarse for Deodorant bars, but nice exfoliator" |
COMMENTS: I asked a question if it was ground up fine enough to be made into a deodorant, and they said yes, but when I made mine, it definitely was NOT ground enough for that. The deodorant bar felt like bits of sand was embedded in it. I would not use this under my pits. However, because of how coarse it is, it does make a nice exfoliant additive for melt and pour soap.
When added to a liquid, the clay turns a deep, dark green. The scent is reminiscent of cooked tofu or soy milk.
