Make guest, sample and tester sized soaps with this silicone mold. The small size is ideal for testing out new soap batches with new colors and fragrance oils!

Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap into silicone mold. Allow soap to cool at room temperature until hard. Carefully remove loaf from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the soap, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the loaf and carefully pull out of the mold. Slice into bars.
Cold Process Soap: Pour soap at trace into mold. After at least 24 hours, gently pull silicone mold to loosen its grip on the soap. Flip mold over onto a clean surface or cookie sheet and gently push on the bottom of mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the loaf with a gloved hand. Slice into bars and allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some CP soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Cold Process/Oven Process Soap: Pour soap at trace into the mold. Preheat oven to 170ºF then place mold in oven. Turn oven off, and keep soap in oven overnight. The next day remove mold from oven. Carefully remove loaf from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the soap, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the soap and carefully pull out of the mold. Slice into bars, and allow soap to cure for 2 to 4 weeks.
Hot Process Soap: Scoop hot process soap into mold. Gently tap the mold onto the counter to remove air pockets. Allow soap to cool and harden. (This can take up to 48 hours.) Carefully remove loaf from mold by gently pulling the sides away from the soap, and then push on the bottom of the mold until the soap starts to release. Grab hold of the loaf and carefully pull out of mold. Slice into bars.
Care:
Hand wash mold in warm, sudsy water.

COMMENTS: I have been finding this little mold to be very useful in my soaping endeavors! It's perfect for any excess batter that won't fit in my loaf mold, or when I don't want to fill it all the way so I have room to pipe on top but still cover it to gel. Definitely pay attention to the dimensions. It is pretty tiny, especially compared to the pictures of it on the website. But it's perfect for my needs, so I'm digging its petite size.

COMMENTS: I have two of these wonderful molds. They are the perfect size for testing out a new recipe or fragrance. They are also the perfect size for selling trial sizes and a soap bar just for the hands or face. This size is also just right for children who often times find a big bar of soap just too big for their little hands. Overall one of my favorite little molds.

My recipe fills it to 1/2 inch, then I can cut my sugar cube scrubs 1/2" x 1/2". Perfect! I have to order more of these, so I can make several batches at one time. The uses are limitless. COMMENTS: I know, I read the dimensions and everything, and I should have known what to expect. It's there in plain English for the world to see. But, it really caught me by surprise how teeny tiny these little bars turn out to be. Almost too small for guests and maybe more suited for testing and for free samples. I can just hear my Dad now when he comes over for Christmas. He's going to say the next time he goes to wash his hands he's gonna need his glasses.
That aside, the quality is unquestionable. First rate product and well made. It does tend to bow a little in the middle the same as the full size loaf if you mess with it while your soap is half cooled. Remedy could be either to not mess with it, or to be sure to push the sides back in a little to straighten it up before it sets all the way.

COMMENTS: I love this little mold. It makes great little guest sized soaps. Great for testing. My only problem with it is that it does tend to bow out a bit at the sides. Not alot, but enough to be seen in the final cut product.

COMMENTS: I love being able to make samples and testers in this loaf mold because it reduces the end workload when cutting up into small bars to hand out. Using a regular loaf, I never could split the loaf in half lengthwise, evenly, so I had to cut each bar up.....this cuts back on those steps! Thank you!

"Great mold---TOO EXPENSIVE FOR THE SIZE!" |
COMMENTS: I love all my crafters choice molds as they are very heavy duty, are very easy to unmold and stand up well to heavy use. Upon receiving this was shocked at HOW small it is! I'm not really sure what I am going to do with it at this point. I think a more reasonable price would be definitely under $10.

COMMENTS: This loaf mold works out great for me as a beginner. It is big enough so that I can get a feel for what I'm doing but not overwhelming. I also was able to unmold my soaps really fast, I believe because of the smaller size. It also gives me a wonderful opportunity to try more techniques faster, not all of my supplies are tied up in one large product. It is also the perfect size for samplers to friends and family.

COMMENTS: Bought these a long time ago in conjunction with the regular-size silicone loaf molds, and while these molds are very easy to use and unmold well, they are a bit on the small side.
So I mostly use them for any extra soap batter that I may have left over, and/or for soap samples.

COMMENTS: This mold has been durable throughout many uses. It is pliable enough to get the bar out whithout damage to either the bar or mold but strong enough to retain its side shape when filled to the brim. The mold sizes make it perfect for travel sized soap or kid sized bars for little hands. Cleaning is a beeze for this mold. A word of warning though this mold does have a tendency to absorb odors. Fortunately, a light bleaching and rinse effective removes all trace of scents.

COMMENTS: It is small and so handy for soap samples. It was smaller than I thought but I have found that to be better for those small batches and to experiment with. I like to use my wavy cutter to make quick little cubes. The quality of this silicone mold is sturdy and easy to use.

COMMENTS: I have a couple of these molds. I mostly make cp soap, and between the size of my regular molds, and my soap cutter, I never have "end" pieces to use for samples. I hated cutting up good bars of soap to use for samples, and now I don't have to!! I just make a few extra ounces of soap, and use these molds to pour it in. It makes perfect sized sample bars, so no more cutting up full bars of soap!

COMMENTS: This mini loaf mold is great for testing out a new scent, to see how it colors the soap/ reacts with other ingredients. And I also use this mold to make sample/ test batches for large custom orders, for buyers to test out a scent/ color combo before making very large orders so they know they like the scent before hand. It's the perfect size, and is also great for guest sized soaps. :)
