It behaves perfectly in cold process, no acceleration or discoloration. The soap retains the scent very well after cure. I use this scent in my whipped soap and lotion bars/creams. I use a little less than the recommended amount because it is rather strong. This is my favorite love spell fragrance that I have found! It sells like hot cakes!!

"This Love Spell smells like the real thing." |

COMMENTS: This is a great remake of "Love Spell" by VS. It stays very well in CP Soap even after cure. I use 7% in CP and 5% in MP Soaps. It smells fantastic in lotion and melt and pour soaps as well. It doesn't accelerate or seize in my CP soap recipe. It does thin the batter some but once it starts to harden it does it fairly quickly. I have time for a half pour single color then a pot swirl of 4 colors on top. Soaping at about 90-95 deg in reg CP soap and 75 deg in Goat's Milk. Doesn't discolor at all.

COMMENTS: First let me say picking fragrances is HARD!! You try to go by the description but every one smells things differently. When I first smelled this in the bottle didn't think I would like it, it seemed to flowery. When I mixed it in a batch of M&P, I still wasn't crazy about it. But when it hardened and I unmolded it- wow! Great fragrance. Its got a nice fresh scent- little citrus-ey but not overpowering. Fresh with out being too earthy or floral. Very feminine. I made a few bars for friends for Mothers Day, and they all loved it.

COMMENTS: I adored this fragrance oil right out of the bottle. It is fabulous. I made melt and pour soaps, sugar scrubs and bath bombs as part of our soaping Christmas gifts. I really wish I had been able to use this in cold process. This fragrance is so feminine and sweet. I would recommend that anyone and everyone try this in something. Everyone who got a melt and pour bar is now asking for a cold process bar and jars of the sugar scrubs. The bath bombs are still strong and lovely. I will get a larger bottle and make a whole line of Love Spell next time.

COMMENTS: Not sure if I love this fragrance, but it behaved very well in the checkerboard soap I made today with rose kaolin clay.
I had time to divide the batter into four containers, and it poured well. I only had to spoon in the top quarter section.
Did not rice or seize. The fragrance reminds me of champagne. I like the way it behaved, and time will tell if there is any discoloration.
So far, so good! Maybe the fragrance will "grow" on me after the soap cures. :)

COMMENTS: I have always stayed pretty much clear of the spray shops in the mall and usually showed at the department stores so I am not as familiar with a lot of the VS and BB fragrances. Well, I am familiar now and this is a fav scent for not only me but for those that I have provided samples to. I am not sure if I am hurting myself by using my own name for this product as it is so popular that I should probably use the given name as the name sells the product for you. COMMENTS: I bought a dozen top rated fragrance ois and have subsequently tested them all in various products. Loves Spell is by far my favorite, I used it in bath fizzies, candles, body spray and pampering pet spray( i wouldn't use it for pet spray again, the scent changes when mixed with your pets scent and gets "muddy") I even got a few calls from my nieces exclaiming how much they loved the lovespell stuff! I can't wait to use this in a myriad of other things so I'm ordering a larger bottle for my next purchase, you should too!

I was able to do a very detailed swirling technique that required my soap batter to stay at a light-medium trace for longer than I had planned and had no problems at all. The description doesn't do it justice. It has a strangely addictive quality to it! It soaps like a dream. No accelerated trace at all - I was able to do pretty swirls with plenty of time to spare. No discoloration and the scent is nice & strong. I will be ordering more for a lotion next!

COMMENTS: This Duplicate of VS lovespell is the best Dup I've ever bought. This is my most popular scent and so has become my signature scent. I make bath bombs, lotion bars, body butter, scrubs and soaps with this fragrance. Other lovespell fragrances I've bought have a funny "after scent" smell to it or they don't last. this scent lasts in my CP soaps and they don't accelerate trace. I have to buy it because if I don't keep it in stock, i'll have a bunch of angry women chasing me down; and I cant run that fast! LOL

COMMENTS: I tried this as a free fragrance with purchase, and now I can't keep it in stock! Smells just like the popular brand name fragrance, so customers that are familiar with it absolutely love it. Holds up well in every product we have tried (MP soap, whipped bath soap, bath salts, and roll on perfume) and you REALLY can't tell it's not the "real thing"! Finished scent isn't overpowering so it is nice for people who like perfumes but can't wear normal ones due to fragrance sensitivity.
