COMMENTS: I’ve had this for a while and finally used it. Has a synthetic smell OOB So layered it on another scent in the mold. Actually smells great. I used The same scent from another supplier and it turned a very dk brown and not a pleasant scent. Easy to work with and colored nicely. I will order again.

COMMENTS: I had in the past watched several well-known soapers and based on their videos, I thought that this fragrance oil would be so wonderful, but for me, it has this weird musky under scent that is quite unpleasant. I thought that it was just me being sensitive, but I had a friend smell it and she thought that it smelled awful, as well. Both of us got nauseous smelling it. Prior to having my friend smell it I tried to make some M&P soap with it and had to throw the soap out because I couldn't with a good conscious attempt to sell it to others. I was going to use it to scent soap for kids, but now I will need to rethink that plan.

COMMENTS: I was really surprised by how much I loved this scent. I bought it because I thought my grandkids would get a kick out of the name, but it really have a very nice smell to it, very fruity. COMMENTS: I ordered this to make soap for my kids, who got a kick out of the name. I'd characterize it as primarily banana, with notes of strawberry and pineapple.
Despite the testing notes I did notice some acceleration as soon as I mixed it into my CP soap batter, causing my planned ITP swirl to fail. It's not the end of the world since it's for personal use, but I'd probably go for a single color or layered design next time instead of a swirl.
The scent is holding up well in the cure.

COMMENTS: Warning: if you are not a fan of the scent of pineapple, this is loaded with it. I only give 4 because I had really hoped that I would be able to detect a little banana, mango or something else in this but it was hard because the pineapple was overpowering. I loved it none the less. I used this in confetti melt and pour for the little kids this year. They all thought the name was hilarious and one didn't know if he wanted to take a bath or open more Christmas presents once he got his. This fragrance has lots of pineapple, but you can detect some apple and a tiny hint of banana but you really have to hunt for it. I will get more since the kids loved it so much and are asking for more. It really is a giggle of fun to play with.

I used titanium dioxide to color and so far it's pure white. GREAT scent retention in CP soap. The scent is true to the description. This personally gave me a headache while working with it, but almost all sweet fragrances do that.

COMMENTS: I bought this to try because it just sounds great and makes you laugh! I had a tried and true recipe, did a single color but it still accelerated on me. Not horribly I got it into my molds and in my haste forgot the monkey mold!! I decided to try again with couple of colors and recipe that was slow moving but it accelerated too fast and riced some for swirling on me. It smells great in the bottle and in the soap - clean and fruity. I didn't think the banana was overpowering at all. Mine hasn't fully cured yet so I've yet to try it but still smelling great after a couple of weeks on the curing rack! Everyone that smells it thinks it great, kids and adults alike and they just laugh and can't wait to try it. I think it will be a hit.

COMMENTS: My kids really like this smell. To avoid bias,I didn't tell them the name at first. They said it smells like candy. This scent accelerates trace super fast. I should've checked the comments more carefully. I had something in mind in terms of design and it was a struggle just to get it into the mold. Next time I use this scent, it will be a single color soap that I can quickly pour into the mold before it gets hard.

COMMENTS: I love the smell of this fragrance but it riced, and accelerated trace terribly! I tried it with two different cold process recipes that are pretty standard, and it did the same thing with both. I soaped on the cooler side (98 degrees). Bars came out grainy looking. The only thing I might try again is a recipe really high in slow trace oils, like olive oil.

I like making things for kids with this scent and they love it. I am really glad that I tried this FO. Mixes in well, a little discolor with coconut milk soap but not bad at all, plus you can always use a stabilizer to help with that.

COMMENTS: I'm torn on this FO. I really like the scent, to me it smells more like Runts candy than actual fruit. It's great in parasoy melts. In CP soap, however, it's the devil. I did manage to make a lovely three color soap, but that was due to sheer will & determination. As much as like the finished product, I don't know if I can bring myself to do it again. Also, I changed the name to "Monkey Butt" because people around here are strangely averse to the word "fart" but even that is shocking to some.

It did seize my cold process soap, but the finished product is just fine (it's ashy, but cleans up fine). COMMENTS: Not quite what I expected but scent is relative to the one "sniffing" and can be subjective especially if one has a bad memory of an odor so I don't take points off if I don't like the aroma. I will say, however, that this smelled so much better once cure in m&p soap vs. sniffing straight out of bottle. I bought strictly on other reviews so was a little disappointed because, to me, all I could smell were bananas and something sour lol. But it proved to be very nice when cured!

I was lucky in that I didn't use color stabilizer in my melt-and-pour, but it still didn't discolor. The bars stayed a bright sunny yellow until they were gone 6 months later.

COMMENTS: I bought this to use with a new bubble bar recipe. It worked out wonderfully; however, the 2 oz bottle I received only contained 1.5 ozs. The recipe called for 2 ozs, so I had to add some additional oil to make up the difference. I LOVE the scent in the bubble bars. I think they will be a huge hit, but I'm bummed that the bottle was short .5 oz. That's a lot to be short.

COMMENTS: The Monkey Farts fragrance is sweet banana and strawberry scent, fruit. It did not discolor soap. I had the lye water and oils down to 110 degrees. Once I did add the scent it started to get stiff fast, work quickly. It did put a slight yellow color but was white when oven processed. I used a bright pink swirl and it looks great. I am going to change the name of scent.

COMMENTS: I simply can't keep soap on the shelf. This fragrance is so popular, I have pre-orders at all times. This is also a favorite, I've noticed, for party favors. This product performs wonderfully in cold process soap, but will discolor with an opaque reddish orange. I actually don't use any pigments with the fragrance as I truly like the color it produces in a palm free recipe. Couldn't be more pleased!

COMMENTS: This smells very fruity. When I tested the scent in my soap with the name :Monkey Farts", a lot of people were very disappointed because they were expecting more banana scent in it. But when I tested the same batch of soap with the name "Tutti Frutti", my customers couldn't get enough of it!! I will be buying this again, but will be selling it with the name change.

COMMENTS: I love this fragrance! However it did accelerate trace and seized my soap. I plan to work at a lower temperature next time to try and prevent this.
I also had a contest with my customers to come up with a new name and that was a lot of fun. The customers enjoyed talking about the "monkey farts" name and had fun coming up with new names in its place. The winner was Bananarama. I look forward to using this fragrance again in several different products.
I will say that it smells spot on with banana at the beginning but as the soap mellows the banana fragrant smell is also. But it still is a great smell even after it mellows.

COMMENTS: I use this FO as a fruit base for blends in many of my CP recipes.I find it rounds out and bolsters citrus fragrance perfectly.I have as well used in chocolate and vanilla blends,which were all amazing.
Just FYI.....used in cp you may notice a bit of fade at about a two week mark during cure....have no fear,it does return beautifully!
Overall this is a perfectly behaved,with almost zero discoloring properties FO.
Try it,I think you will be surprised;-).

COMMENTS: I got a STUNNING visual design using this FO. Multi-color faux funnel and eye-popping colors. Gave me lots of time to work with, and there was no discolor. The fragrance in and of itself is a little perplexing. It seems like there is a lot going on and maybe it gets muddled. Smelled someone synthetic, but didn't sting the nose. on the contrary, it was a little muddled and "marshmallowy." The main thing I smelled was banana. But it was a muddly, light banana with other stuff thrown in. When you smell it, you don't know what that "other stuff" is. You just know it's not totally banana. Still, I sold it as "Banana Split," and it was a big hit for the lookers (visual customers). Without the look, I think most of the sniffers would have dismissed it out of hand. If you're a Monkey Farts lover, you might go for this. If it doesn't necessarily strike you as "WOW!" it might not be for you. Personally, I think it needs the faintest hint of spearmint. I think that would make everything pop, and I'm going to try it! Hope I can leave an update here after the experiment!

COMMENTS: I will be changing the title of this fragrance when I sell it in my shop (I find the word "fart" vulgar in polite company. I know I know, it's just the way I was raised) It smells delicious. I can definitely smell the bananas and the bubble gum! The soap behaved very well and I did an awesome looking drop swirl with it. I did notice a little bit of browning, but it wasn't too bad and it didn't drastically change my colors. Still smells strong after a full cure!

COMMENTS: I had been looking for a scent that is fruity yet subtle and when I was reading the reviews I was skeptical only because we all have different ways to describe our scent likings. I received the FO and loved the way it smelt by just opening the bottle. The scent is fruity and subtle not like all other fruity scents. It has a warm tropical scent that is not overwhelming. What I like best is a little goes a long way. Imade some bath bombs and lotion samples for a craft show and I sold out of the bath bombs and now have numerous customers laughing at the name of the FO and in love with the way it smells. Great idea for the name of monkey farts! Thank you all for your reviews as it helped me decide on the final purchase.

COMMENTS: This scent is so Yummy, it smells so good you want to eat everything made with it.
I used this in many different products and smell is so concentrated that I only need half of what normal recipes call for. Most times I had to substitute a non scented carrier oil to make up the difference in the recipe.
I have added this scent to my current product line, and I am hoping that you guys keep it around because it is doing well for me!
Only thing is that is bought my cold process recipe to trace fairly quickly. So be mindful of that.

COMMENTS: I love this scent. I made bubble bars with this and my whole kitchen smelled like monkey farts for a couple days afterwards. (I did use a lot of the fragrance though) I smell mostly banana but my sister (who also really likes it) doesn't. It's a great kid's scent but mine aren't particularly picky on what their bubbles smell like and it dissipates in the bath pretty quickly.
I don't care for the bottle that it came in. It seemed that it was likely to leak. When I got it, it came sealed with black tape and when I used it and put it back (even in a bag) it still made all of my soap making stuff smell like it. (not that I'm super upset about it though, since it made everything smell yummy.)
It seemed a little expensive at first but there is actually a lot in the bottle. I used a couple teaspoons in the bubble bar recipe which was a lot but I still have plenty for anything else that I want to make in the foreseeable future and I bought the little 2 oz bottle.
Overall I am very pleased and I will buy again whenever I run out.

It doesn't morph or fade in any of these, and even has a good hot and cold throw in soy candles. I've used it in soaps with micas and titanium dioxide, but haven't noticed any discoloring. No noticeable acceleration, soaps like a dream! It's definitely one to grab the attention of current and potential customers! The smell is definitely banana, with some other fruity undertones. Definitely worth the price.
