Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Close the mold by firmly pressing the edges together. Stand the mold in a sturdy measuring cup. Slowly pour melted soap into mold, and allow soap to harden. Open mold and remove soap. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Embed mini column into a loaf. Embed multiple mini columns for a unique design.
Cold Process Soap: Close the mold by firmly pressing the edges together. Stand the mold in a sturdy measuring cup. Slowly pour traced soap into mold. After at least 24 hours, open mold and remove soap with gloved hands. Trim edges with a potato peeler or spatula. Embed soap into a loaf. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Care:
Hand wash mold in warm, sudsy water.

COMMENTS: Worked great for me! Comes apart cleanly and just does the job. The crescent is a very nice shape compared to other moon molds I've found. Only thing that's tough is having to prop it up as it doesn't stand on its own.

COMMENTS: The mold is easy to use and makes a lovely half moon. However, it would be really fantastic to have an option that isn't so short/small. It's easier to cut a large embed down to size than to make several and patch them together.

COMMENTS: Worked great from my celestial soap, I had no problems with leaking. I just wish I had paid better attention to the size, it was shorted than I expected, but that's my fault.

COMMENTS: Love this little mold! The first time I used it, I was anxious and opened it too soon so I had some rough edges. Then I learned my lesson! Makes a great little surprise in a loaf of soap. Will definitely need more!!
