"Does not smell what it was advertised as" |

COMMENTS: I was super excited about this one among plenty of items I purchased. I'm not new to EOs and fragrances. This simply smells like lavender with a touch of camphor. I was hoping for an earthy, warm and refreshing scent. I could not smell any bergamot, cassia root or nutmeg. It was the most expensive from my very first purchase from this place. Very disappointed to say the least.

COMMENTS: I did not like this scent when it first came in. Had a very strong scent of wood/dirt? Not sure. Due to having a new baby, I did not use it right away. After a year, the strong odor had faded and it had a mild peppermint scent. I used it in an experimental CP soap, and it came out nice.

COMMENTS: When we first purchased this we thought it was going to smell earthy.. Alas Refreshing is the word I would use to describe it. Over the last year or so we have blended it with success with lavender essential, tea tree, and a few other essentials. We use it in our therapeutic blend. Our customers love it! I guess you could say it was a happy accident.

COMMENTS: Based on the name and the description I thought this was going to be a little too dirty or earthy smelling but it was not. It is quite pleasant. I used in CP soap to do an ombre coloring and it was so easy to work with and no discoloring. The scent really sticks too. I call mine bergamot and cassia, I get some bright notes up front then a pleasant earthy-ness at the end. It is hard to describe the odor other than not as earthy as it sounds, which for me was a good thing.

"A Very Earthly scent" |

COMMENTS: I was looking for something that seemed to be a more down to earth and nature type scent. This is exactly what I was looking for. I have a lot of hippie type friends and live in that kind of a community. I wanted something they woudl like and they love it. It mixes well, no discoloring, and the scent stays for a good amount of time in my bars of soap.

COMMENTS: I like this one a lot. It smells very natural. Has held up well so far in CP soap. Somewhat different in soap than in the bottle--it's mild and calming in the soap, a bit strong out of the bottle. Can definitely smell the peppermint, but it's not peppermint forward, definitely a blend where you don't necessarily pick out individual scents, but they all come together nicely. A lovely unisex scent.

COMMENTS: Just like most essential oils this one smells pretty bad out of the bottle. Once it is diluted into soap it is such a refreshing mint smell I was almost shocked. It has a very soothing and almost homeopathic smell to it that just seems to open up your nostrils. I love this refreshing peppermint scent!
