Directions:

"Smells Like Maple " |

COMMENTS: As other reviewers mentioned this scrub base has an aroma. It smells sweet and a lot like maple syrup. The fragrance oil I had planned to use with this isn’t going to work. However, using a stronger fragrance like a pumpkin, almond or even leaving it as is should be nice. The texture is great and feels nice on the skin.

"Love this base BUT ......" |

COMMENTS: I purchased this base a few times and I love the texture. It is very easy to work with and make your own. BUT the natural smell of the base is very strong from the butters. For this reason, only I am not giving it 5 stars. If the scent was not so strong I would be giving this a 5+. The scent of the base can be covered for the most part with fragrance / essential oils. I will purchase this base still I wish they can make this more "unscented" .

COMMENTS: I wanted a scrub base that gave a whipped texture and this did exactly that! It whipped well and smelled even better once I added fragrance! It is so felt and fluffy and mixed well with exfoliating ingredients.

"Prefer from scratch " |

COMMENTS: It was easy to combine fragrance and exfoliates. But the natural scent of the base barely was covered by the fragrance. For that reason, I would not purchase again. I will continue doing from scratch. I'll just use the 2lbs I purchased for myself as I wouldn't give away or sell.
