"Smells like real honey and oats" |

COMMENTS: I've tried so many honey/oatmeal fragrances and this one is my favorite. It doesn't have that weird powdery smell that a lot of them have, or an odd hint of floral. It's not overly sweet either. It truly smells like a warm baked good, with toasted oats and a honey glaze. Almost like golden grahams cereal. I use it at 3.17% and it's light, but perfectly strong for my tastes - and it sticks around. It doesn't discolor as much as you would expect for 6% vanillin. I would recommend this for CP soap for sure. It smells amazing OOB too, so I think it would be great in MP or even bath bombs.

"Actually smells like oatmeal" |

COMMENTS: I have tried probably 5 different oatmeal milk honey fragrances across multiple suppliers and this is the only one that smells like oatmeal to me, with brown sugar. It is heavenly. I had no problems with it in CP (aside from discoloration I am anticipating with the vanillin). I just used it so I can’t say whether it sticks well or not, I hope it does because it’s delightful.

COMMENTS: This scent is really nice- it does smell like honey granola or an oatmeal cookie with honey! I just wish it was a bit stronger in my soap. I used the full 2oz bottle in 2-2.5 lbs of soap. I left the top unscented so it would stay white. I colored the bottom fragranced part of the soap with a pinch of gingerbread brown like another reviewer suggested, to enhance the discoloration which is sort of a grayish brown. I also added some kaolin clay + wildflower honey + colloidal oats and did a "honeycomb" top on one half of the top (with bubble wrap lol) and a gold mica swirl on the other half.

"Excellent, but enhance the brown" |

COMMENTS: I love the smell of this FO. It is my favorite oatmeal & honey fragrance order. I did a swirl in my CP soap & used titanium dioxide in part of the batter & a great metallic color in one part & left the last 3rd without any added colorant. I wish I had used more titanium dioxide in one of the mixtures. This gets really brown, but unlike the picture I found it to cure as a grey brown with a bit of a green undertone. Next time I will add cocoa powder or gingerbread mica to the 3rd I had left without the color. I wasn’t keen on the shade of brown that it turned. Again, this is a really yummy scent!

"Best Honey scent ever! " |

COMMENTS: I ordered this hoping that it wouldn't smell fake, or overly 'imitated', because I've ordered from a few other companies and.....YUCK. But this one...OMG! Get it NOW! I always keep an extra bottle of this on hand, because I'm always doing something with it! Soap, scrubs, body butters, room spray....always something. Even just opening the bottle to get a whiff. Reminds me of the blackberry honey my Papa used to make when I was a little girl.
It gels quite nicely too, and it doesn't overheat! I even add colloidal oatmeal and honey to my batches with this and I've never had it overheat, crack or volcano on me! Just perfect gel, every time!

COMMENTS: I have tried several but most are just ok or too sweet. WELL..this one is AMAZING. It smells like a rich sfresh cooked oatmeal cookie, but not overly sweet..just perfect! I make my first HP soap with this and it came out without any issues. The scent makes me want to just keep washing over and over. Will invest in a huge bottle of this. Can't wait to make my usual CP soap with it. This is a keeper!

"An impressive mistake" |

COMMENTS: I mistakenly ordered this FO in place of my go-to Oatmeal, Goats milk & Honey. Boy....what a impressive mistake that was. This fragrance is awesome! It soaped perfectly without any acceleration and is about 2 weeks curing now. The scent is much stronger than my go-to and I'll use much less the next time I soap it. I have no doubt that this scent will hold up nicely once completely cured and will become a big seller in my product line-up. Sometimes mistakes are the best "aha" moments in life...and this one fits that for sure!

COMMENTS: I just finished making a 5# batch of hot process soap and my husband walked in the room to see what I was up too. He said he couldn't resist the smell wafting through the house and needed to know what scent that was. He wanted to bake cookies afterwards LOL. It is so soft, creamy, buttery and smells like the real deal, none of the almond scent that is typically in many of the OMH versions. One suggestion regarding the discoloring, try our Crafter's Choice Vanilla Color Stabilizer - CP Soap (it is made for MP Soap and Lotions/Washes as well). This fragrance has 6% vanilla content. The stabilizer prevents the vanilla in fragrance oils from turning lye based soap formulations brown. It will not prevent color changes due to ingredients other than vanilla. It works really well - we use it often. |

Due to the high content of vanilla, it does turn dark brown, but that hasn't deterred any of my customers who love the comforting fragrance. I used it in cold process soap which I poured in a slab mold and covered with bubble wrap to give the top of the soap a honeycomb appearance. I also added finely ground oatmeal for a slight scrubby texture. Another favorite!
