Our Premium Aloe and Olive Oil Melt and Pour Soap Base has a light green color and clarity score of 9 out of 10. The two pound tray is the perfect size container for projects making (8) 4 oz bars of soap. The lid allows for unused soap to easily be stored for future use.

Directions:
MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.
MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a Crafter's Choice mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.
ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!
CAUTION: Melted soap is hot! For ages 15 and older.

COMMENTS: It seems that a lot of people want soap with olive oil - hearing that it's so good for your skin. Aloe is another big plus to this mix. "Crafters Choice™ Premium Aloe & Olive Soap Base" |

COMMENTS: The main element I love about this product is the base misture of Aloe and Olive Oil - as do my customers. It works beautifully in the luffa soaps and face soaps I make. It creates a beautiful clear soap and have made it in several scents incorporating a different color in each one (green, red, pink and yellow specifically) and the color remain true with no conflict with the greenish-tinted base color. They look especially gorgeous with a little colored mica sparkle. My customers love how moisturized their skin feels after applying this and have begged me to keep this product in my line. They didn't need to. I was sold the first time I used it.

COMMENTS: The slight fragrance and moisturizing benefits of this soap are wonderful. I frequently use it without adding any ingredients. I use it in the shower and for my face soap now. After a day working in the yard, using sun screen, bug spray and covered in dirt, I no longer have to wash my body 2-3 times to get all the layers of grime off and it doesn't dry my skin out. I've never found a soap at a retail store that cleans so well!!

COMMENTS: This makes a great gardener's soap. I mix in some poppy seeds (for exfoliation) and some fragrance and pour it into a mold. The olive oil in this m&p soap helps to moisturize rough gardener's hands.

COMMENTS: This melt and pour soap is super easy to work with, holds scent very well, and the customers love it. The fact that it has olive in it makes it even more popular for those who like glycerin soap. It leaves the skin feeling soft and last a long time!

COMMENTS: Bought a little of this as a "trial" base for a potential new product, and was very impressed with it. I combined it with Crafters Choice™ Bamboo Fragrance Oil 253 and didn't need to add any colors or additives to it; it was absolutely perfect. A lovely every day soap with long lasting moisture.

COMMENTS: I purchased this base to make a complexion soap for the ladies of the family for Christmas. The natural color is beautiful but I added a drop of the stain glass green color to it and it looks even better. I added Rice Bran oil to the soap for a little more moisturizing benefit and it is very nice to use. It leaves my skin feeling clean but not dry, from the soap. I will definitely buy this again!

COMMENTS: This soap is great for a body soap in the shower. I added essential oils and a little coconut oil to nourish the skin and it turned out great! This is a simple soap that works well with essential oils and is great for your basic needs. I also shaved some of this down and used it in a salt rub. I would recommend a creamier soap base (like shea or coconut milk) if you want something for dry skin, but for a basic refreshing wash, this is a great choice.

We scented this soap base with OMG Olive fragrance oil and they sold instantly last holiday season. COMMENTS: A few times a year the water here is treated with chlorine when they flush pipes. Many of us suffer from burning of our skin for a couple of weeks from this. When using this Olive Oil soap it lessens the effects and soothes the skin immediately.Also I make this for landscapers who are out in the harsh elements working each day and they love it.

COMMENTS: I love the fact that this soap base blends both aloe vera and olive oil. It makes for a great selling point! But beyond that, it is a base that stands on it's own - great lather and does really well with suspension. One of my favorite bases! Wish it came in the 24 lb cake.
