Premium Three Butter Plus MP Soap Base - 10 lb Block

International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI):
Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Myristate, Sodium Laurate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Seed Butter, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Titanium Dioxide.

Common Name Ingredient Listing (FDA Approved):
Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Stearic Acid, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Myristic Acid, Lauric Acid, Shea Butter, Coca Butter, Mango Butter, Titanium Dioxide.

Directions:

MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.

MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a Crafter's Choice mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.

ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!

CAUTION: Melted soap is hot!  For ages 15 and older.

"Leaves skin feeling great!" COMMENTS:  This has a higher melting point, and feels scratchier when cutting than, say, the baby buttermilk soap or a clear base, but it makes a great lather than my customers and family love. "Quality MP soap" COMMENTS:  I had purchased a 2 lb container to try this MP base out and I loved it so much I bought a 10lb block. It is simple to work with and makes my hands feel smooth and soft. It is not completely opaque so that is a fun feature. I messed up on a loaf I was doing and had to redo it. The MP held up to being reheated. It did not get rubbery. I will be buying much more soon! "I thought this was described as low-sweat when I purchased it, so thank you for the correction. However, I did make some soap with this base and there was absolutely no lather at all. Staff Answer Did you add anything other than fragrance? Our Premium Soap Bases lather very well. If a fixed oil was added, this will cut down on the lather. "This is supposed to be 'low sweat' soap, but can it be set up in a display outside in only a paper or cardboard sleeve and not get wet or 'dewy'? Staff Answer This soap is not considered low sweat. Our detergent free soaps are more low sweat.
