Pro Base Clear MP Soap Base - 23 lb Block

International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI):
Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Stearate, Sodium Myristate, Sodium Laurate.

Common Name Ingredient Listing (FDA Approved):
Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Stearic Acid, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Myristic Acid, Lauric Acid.

Directions:

MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.

MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a Crafter's Choice mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.

ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!

CAUTION: Melted soap is hot!  For ages 15 and older.

"excellent quality" COMMENTS:  This base is very easy to work with. It melts and pours easily and hardens without distortions or warping. After curing for a few days there is no sweating. "Crystal Clear!" COMMENTS:  This is a great soap to pair up in a CP recipe when you need some stand out color. I made a "Strawberries & Cream" Hi-Top bar soap with M&P drop swirled into the CP soap batter. It made a very pretty & showy soap, and has sold very well. Staff Answer I do not advise for you to add additional oils to the MP soap base. It may cause the finish product to not harden.
