Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF into mold. Cool until soap has hardened. Remove soap from mold, and slice into bars. For easier unmolding, place into freezer for 30 minutes, and then immerse bottom of the mold in hot water for a few moments. Do not use cooking spray to coat mold.
Cold Process Soap: Coat the mold with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into mold. After 24 hours, flip mold over onto a clean surface. Gently push the back of the mold until the soap begins to release then pull the soap out of the mold with a gloved hand. Slice into bars. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF. Allow mixture to solidify. Flip mold over onto clean surface. Gently push back of mold until lotion bar begins to release then pull bar out of mold. Slice into lotion bars.
Care:
Wash in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

"My go-to mold!" |
COMMENTS: I love this mold. I use it more than any of my others. It makes a beautifully beveled top. I get a lot of compliments for the soaps I make with this! My favorite thing about it is how easy it is to make swirls and marbled looks, and each bar comes out differently. I can knock out 8 bars of one style with ease!

"Give this Mold A Try!" |
COMMENTS: I initially purchased this mold because it was on sale. It looked a little flimsy when I first got it and I was skeptical that it would be easy to use. Well I was WRONG! The mold is really durable and as a loaf loyalist, I must say I really liked how perfect my bars looked without having to worry about cutting a straight line.

"Good product but..." |
COMMENTS: I had issues where several warped, even when pouring at low temperatures (140 and below). However the ones that did not warp have made perfectly rectangle, uniform sized bars that look wonderful!

"Rectangle Milky Way Soap Mold " |
COMMENTS: This is a great mold! I WAS using the silicone rectangle mold, but it only makes 4 bars at a time & they are VERY large, 5 ounces. Makes it difficult to "compete" at Farmer's Markets and the like when you're charging more than everyone else, because you HAVE to when your soaps are larger (but customers don't see that!). THIS mold makes the perfect size!! I've had NO problems getting the soaps out of the mold-I haven't had to freeze or pre-oil the tray at all! My ONLY wish is that they were a little thicker AND that this mold was available in silicone!!! I originally only ordered one, but have decided to come back & order five more, as this will now be the size of all the soaps I sell at the markets this spring! Hurry & send them to me...excited to make more than one batch at a time! THANKS! :)

"Unmolds easily, but difficult to cut." |
COMMENTS: Given how long the mold is, cutting it evenly is a bit of a challenge. But it's size makes it perfect for bulk orders and easy unmolding. Unfortunately, mine got slightly bent while in a moving box with my other molds for a few hours and will no longer sit flat. Always be careful when storing!
I've had a small handful of customers tell me that they'd prefer these bars if there were more height to them. Because they are longer than average but not very thick heighth-wise, when they are used, eventually you end up with a long, thin sliver of soap that is harder to keep using without breaking.
