Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF into mold. Cool until soap has hardened. Remove soap from mold, and slice into bars. For easier unmolding, place into freezer for 30 minutes, and then immerse bottom of the mold in hot water for a few moments. Do not use cooking spray to coat mold.
Cold Process Soap: Coat the mold with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into mold. After 24 hours, flip mold over onto a clean surface. Gently push the back of the mold until the soap begins to release then pull the soap out of the mold with a gloved hand. Slice into bars. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF. Allow mixture to solidify. Flip mold over onto clean surface. Gently push back of mold until lotion bar begins to release then pull bar out of mold. Slice into lotion bars.
Care:
Wash in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

"difficult to unmold" |
COMMENTS: I've tried a few things to make unmolding my cp soap easier, but it always sticks to this mold. I end up having to shave quite a bit off each bar to improve their appearance, and the mold itself arrived slightly bent so it doesn't sit flat on a hard surface, causing uneven pours. I do love the size of the bars however, and I love that I can get 16 bars from one batch; my other molds hold less product so I only get 11 bars from them. Another con (for me) is that the mold has a beveled look to each bar, and I end up needing to bevel it further and bevel the other ends; all in all, it is a good, economical mold, but I don't see myself using it for high production.

"Mold is big, but delicate" |
COMMENTS: Be careful when using this mold. It's huge, but because of the amount of soap holding it, the weight can easily bend the sides a little. It can easily warp too, from the sheer size of the thing. However, the mold does its job, if all you need is a neatly cut block of soap.

"Time saver" |
COMMENTS: Love this mold. I can make, pour, and move to something else while I have 16 bars of soup setting up. I just need more counter top to add about 6 more molds.

"Works great and unique in size!" |
COMMENTS: I wish this was silicone as my life would be perfect! But it's not. I had a customer want custom soaps that measured 4"x2"x1". Finding a mold for these was impossible. My husband made me some molds, but they were so big the batches would seize at times. Finally found these and they work great! I just wish there were more molds out there for 4" wide bars!

"Great Mold! What took me so long?" |
COMMENTS: I was hesitant to try out these plastic molds. I thought they would be as thin and flimsy as candy molds used for candy melts, but they are thicker and much sturdier. I hadn't seen many reviews or any videos about these molds or even pictures of the finished cold processed soaps. I decided to take a chance when they went on sale, and I'm so glad that I did. I made 16 beautiful bars of soap that popped right out after my soap hardened enough about 12+ hours later. My recipe got firm fairly quickly, and I used 4% sodium lactate. I like being able to see through the mold. I didn't expect the bonus of not needing a tray underneath the soap to tamp out the bubbles in the batter after pouring. I have to use a tray or something with most silicone molds because they are so flexible. I was able to tamp out all of the bubbles with no problem. I thought it would be all wobbly from the weight of the soap, but it was fairly steady. I think I would have been able to move the filled mold to a different table without it spilling if I wanted to or at least it would have been easy enough to do after about 30-60 minutes when the soap had firmed up a bit. I don't know how durable these molds are because I just got them, but I really think they'll last a long time because they're sturdier than they look in pictures. I also wash them by hand. I might end up liking these plastic types of molds better than at least some of my silicone molds once I use them more, and I really like my silicone molds.

"Great Product!" |
COMMENTS: I have had this tray for several months and made many CP batches in it. Gelled and ungelled. At first glance I did have my doubts, it does look like a cheap piece of plastic but this thing is tough, requires no lining and creates perfect size bars with deep lines on the bottom for easy cutting. Well worth the money!

COMMENTS: This is the perfect mold, it's not expensive, it takes 5 pounds of wax, perfect bars every time, this makes doing larger batched a dream!!!! I will also be ordering a smaller size for the times I don't need 16 bars.

"Works Amazing" |
COMMENTS: I just got this mold and immediately decided to make Salt Bars they came out amazing. The only thing that I had difficult with was cutting as the width is so large if you don't have a very large knife or cutting tool some of the bars can crack. I thinks it's a fair trade off though as I've never unmolded so smoothly.
