Rose Kaolin Clay is a colored cosmetic clay that is very popular in skincare products. This Rose Clay can be used to thicken products and absorb extra oil. Use this beautifully colored clay in face masks, bar soap, bath fizzies and more!

Directions:
DIRECTIONS: Incorporate into formula, amount as desired. Common use levels are 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon per pound of base. If making a face mask, the common use level is 50-75%. Test your final product to insure optimal performance.
STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase. Keep out of reach from children and pets.
CAUTION: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and away from eyes. Do not inhale.

COMMENTS: I use this clay in a couple of my all natural soaps and it colors beautifully in CP. The feel is smooth and it does work well in my recipe for my older customers who want something moisturizing.

COMMENTS: I'm very torn over this because I've used rose clay from other vendors and crafters choice in the past. Im not sure If they changed the product but every single time it gets used, it seizes the soap. Every time. From a tiny half teaspoon size to a tablespoon or more, room temp, cool temp, warmer temps... it didn't matter. Absolutely disappointed.

COMMENTS: WOW... we used this in our shave soap. It looks gorgeous!!! We also put it in our face mask line. Face masks are difficult because you want to offer different options that do different things and look differently. While those of us here with no knowledge of shaving were betting the clays would dull the razors, we were wrong. We made two shave soap melts, one with rose clay and one with sea clay, and then poured both at the same time into the molds. The shave soaps came out STUNNING!!

COMMENTS: I really enjoy using this product in my cold process soap. It colors the soap beautiful varying shades of pink depending on how much you use, but not much is needed for pretty pink colors. COMMENTS: Definitely didn’t realize 2 tsp in 32 oz of oil would thicken as quickly as it did. For what it’s worth, I added directly to melted oils (Shea, coconut, olive, avocado, jojoba) and whisked it in and then added my lye water. More of a dusty peach because of my dark oils. Will try 1 TBSP in my next batch to see what kind of color I get because I do like how it feels In my CP soap.

The rose clay works so great in m&p soaps, facial products (masks, soaps, etc, body butters,and makes an awesome shaving soap for people with dry skin! COMMENTS: Got this Clay as a contrast to my red Clay. It's such a pretty color Clay. It colors my soaps well. It also looks great in bath bombs. It not only gives a pretty color in bath bombs it also helps them to harden. Will definitely keep this Clay on hand.

COMMENTS: I used this recently in a CPOP Ylang Ylang soap, and am quite pleased with the color. I probably overdid it, since I added 1 full Tbsp. clay for 10 ounces of soap batter, but the color is nice, eye-popping hot pink. Just love it! I'm sure you could make it a more soft, pastel color by using less. A little bit does go a long way. If you like to use natural colorants, this should definitely be in your toolbox.

COMMENTS: This can be used in face masks or in a facial bar, among other things. I made some facial bars with this and some other natural ingredients and my family didn't even want me to put them out to sell because they wanted to keep them all for themselves. Clays have many benificial properties. I like them all, but this one is really a winner. I will be using more of this product.

COMMENTS: The Rose Kaolin clay is my favorite clay so far as it mixes smooth with oil or soap mixture at trace, beautiful color, good light scent and can color soap to a nice light pink. COMMENTS: I use this for cp colorants. For my pink soap, I miss the clay in the oils prior to adding the lye water mixture. For my pink and white soap, I dissolve the clay in water and adding to soap mixture. The colore holds up well both ways and you can alter the tone by adding more or less clay.

COMMENTS: I used Rose Kaolin Clay, mixed with a little oil, to add a nice rose-colored swirl in my floral-scented cold process soap. A little goes a long way (about 2 Tbsp per 8 lb. batch). I've also used the rose clay, mixed with a couple of other clays, in facial masks. I was a little nervous the first time - worried about it turning my face red - but it washed right off, and my face felt so good after the clay treatment. This will be a staple in my soap-making pantry.

COMMENTS: I originally used this in the lavender and rose bath fizzies which turned out great. After reading reviews, I also tried adding a little to some mp soap and was very pleased with the color. Add a little glycerin first before adding to soap. Look forward to more uses.

COMMENTS: I used this to make a layered activated charcoal and rose clay spa bar. It turned out wonderfully! The color this clay turns is a lovely dusty rose when mixed with white m&p soap base. It is also very gentle on the skin. I will definitely purchase more of this clay! It would also work well in bath bombs!

COMMENTS: I had never used any clay before I purchased the rose (and white) kaolin clay. I was very pleased with the color the rose added to my soap. When I first poured the batter it was a dark rose color, the next morning it had lightened to a pale pink color, by the time I returned home that evening the soap was back to the original dark rose color, which is what I wanted.
