Round Clamshell

Directions:
DO NOT PUT CUPS IN THE MICROWAVE.

Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap no hotter than 135ºF into soap cup. Cool until soap has hardened. Package soap and cup together in a cello bag for your finished product.

Cold Process Soap: Coat soap cup with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into cup. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Package soap and cup together in a cello bag for your finished product.

"Complete Package" COMMENTS:  I love these little clamshells! I made glycerin soaps with resin fish in them and they were perfect! Love the fact that I can just pop the lid on, label the bottom and they’re ready to go. Just make sure you don’t overfill them or the lids won’t fit. "Clamshells" COMMENTS:  This is a very handy item to have around. I had a bath bomb project in mind when purchasing, but then used them to mold extra milk soap batter, which of course has to stay cold. I was able to just pop em in the freezer with my larger molds. In the end they released better than the silicone mold for my fussy buttermilk baby soap recipe, I may make this size on purpose next time! "I am using these for MP for gifts. Per the instructions ,I poured, let cool and put lid on. I can not get the soap out of them..was testing to be sure friends won't struggle. How do we remove soap? Also, can they be used as a mold to make MP soap? I want to make the soap that looks like a mint with the pinwheel white/red soap. Will the plastic hold up for this design since I have to remove the white soap, cut , and replace the pieces before pouring the red around it." Staff Answer Be sure to pour soap to the top of the cavity. Turn the soap over and gently push all around until you see the soap release from the mold. These are meant to be a one-time use and not a mold for repeated uses. You can certainly try making the pinwheel. You could use one clamshell as your "mold" for the white part.
