This scale includes a removable clear LCD cover that protects the buttons and LCD from damage (great for messy recipes, soapmaking or candlemaking). New 2007 models also come with 3 secondary soft clear faceplate covers (in case you have chemicals on your fingers when you touch the keypad). With a large 7 kg (15.4lb) capacity and precise 1 gram (0.1oz) readings this scale is an incredible value and is available at most scale retailers or through our online merchants.

Directions:
Set scale to desired unit using the mode button. Place a bowl or container on the scale. Wait until the container is measured and press TARE to zero out the scale. Add ingredients to container to measure up to 7000 g, 15.450 lb., 246.90 oz. or 7.000 kg.

COMMENTS: I am glad I spent the money on this scale. I had quite a good postal scale before ( direct from USPS) til it went kaput. I thought I'd try this one and I LOVE IT! Love that it mode and tare buttons. Heavy duty design. Holds alot of weight. I also always use it to weigh my packages. I highly recommend!

COMMENTS: Easy to use, intuitive, large enough for most purposes, and seems really well-built. The batteries in the scale were dead when it arrived, so be prepared for the possibility of needing to put in a fresh set or use the supplied power adapter.
I'd definitely recommend the scale!

COMMENTS: Great scale! I purchased this scale after my old one died and I just love this scale. It's compact and reliable. My only complaint is that the power cord frayed a bit, but I did have it repaired and it works just fine. I plan on purchasing another soon as a back up.

COMMENTS: I splurged when I bought this and I don't regret it! The scale stays on longer than my previous one...which was very frustrating. It's good and sturdy and has a nice light up screen. I love the fact that it comes with an AC adapter...much better than worrying about batteries dying. great scale at a great value...perfect upgrade from kitchen type scales.
