Best "all purpose" liquid wash. Upon use, it produces many slippery, creamy bubbles. Contains cocamidopropyl betaine thought to have aid in antiseptic properties. Formulated to also be used as hand soap and bubble bath.
Common Uses:
Liquid Shower Gel, Bubble Bath, Hand Soap. This is a ready to use base. It can be used “as is” or it can have color and fragrance incorporated prior to packaging.

Maximum Temp Note: If a base is heated over “Maximum Heating Temperature” for greater than 5 minutes the current preservative system can be rendered inactive and additional preservative is required to prevent the growth of mold, bacteria and fungus. If more than 5% additives are incorporated into the base, the current preservative system will be diluted and additional preservative will be required.
Maximum Fragrance Note: Some fragrance and essential oils may thin, thicken and/or cloud this base. You will want to conduct performance testing to ensure your final product performs as you desire.

Directions:
Base can be heated slightly until warm to best incorporate fragrance oil. Recommended fragrance load is 1-2%. More than this may thin product. COMMENTS: I like this shower gel, but the natural scent straight out of the bucket is difficult to mask, without exceeding the recommend usage of fragrance oil. Then, if you add more fragrance oil, the product is extremely thin; causing you to have to add a significant amount of bubble wash thickener.

COMMENTS: I make a pink Shower Gel with this product and for some reason the pink gel turns cloudy after a day and it has never done that before. I have made the same thing with purple and it does not turn cloudy. I have made several batches and the pink always does this now.

COMMENTS: I made body wash with this gel. It was my first attempt at this. I found that it didn't lather very well despite using Bubble Up in the formula. I believe the fragrance oil I purchased elsewhere might be to blame for the less-than stellar results, as well as my inexperience. Worth giving it another try with different ingredients.

NOTE- Do not pour this is a styrofoam cup! It will completely disintegrate it, and you will loose all of your product! I found out the hard way..

COMMENTS: I made bubble bath using this base and the result was tons of fun bubbles for the kids. Bubbles lasted long. It was hard to keep this gel clear though and even the slightest addition of fragrance turned it opaqued. Not a problem for me as it was still gorgeous.

COMMENTS: It's a pretty solid base that lathers very well and doesn't dry out your skin though it comes with some issues. Depending on the type of fragrance used one fragrance can turn out perfect and the next can turn out very watery and pretty muted. I've noticed it's mainly heavy floral and heavy vanilla fragrances that have this effect especially if you use vanilla stabilizer. You can use the thickener but it's pricey and has its own issues. If you could make it thicker from the start that might help but I have no idea how that works.

COMMENTS: I want to give this product 5 stars, but the fact that it can only accept 2% fragrance max is a deal breaker for me. The amount of fragrances that can be used at 2% and still smell strong enough to detect is minimal. Add the fact that so many fragrance need a vanilla color stabilizer (making the actual fragrance allowance even less) means the usability of this product is lessened. Other than that, I love it. Yes, I know you can use Bubble Wash Thickener to help combat this issue, but 1. You need a lot of BWT to fix the issue and 2. Bubble Wash Thickener is expensive at $25 for one pound.

COMMENTS: I was a bit skeptical of this product at first. I tried making my own castile liquid soap, but the bubbles were nonexistent and the consistency was horrible. I was hoping for a thicker soap with nice bubbles and I have found it here. Super simple to use. Just heat up, add color and fragrance, bottle and label. EASY-PEAZY! Buying more!

Just warm it up, add a little color and fragrance, slap a silly label on it and the kids will love you. COMMENTS: I first tried the bath gel with my FO of choice & polysorbate 20. It felt drying. Then I tried adding the FO straight into the bath gel & instant success. It didn't separate or make the bath gel runny at all. The bath gel has a nice thick consistency without adding Bubblewash Thickener. I'm glad that I decided to experiment & am happy with the bath gel :)

COMMENTS: I made watermelon shower gel. added the pearlizer..it looked beautiful, until I added the fragrance...It thinned
out, and became very foamy. When I got up this morning, I looked at the bottles and they were 1/2 and 1/2.
Bottom had the gel, the top was all foamy. Is there anything I can add to get rid of the foam. I don't want to
throw it away, because it is still shower gel, only foamy...Any suggestions.

*This is very bubbly. I love the idea that you don't have to add extra items to make it more bubbly.
* It suspended the jojoba beads very wonderfully without messing the product up like adding a weird look to it.
*Holds color and Fragrance very well.
* Leaves skin nice and refreshed. I only added jojoba beads, Fragrance and small amount of gold mica to it.
* I highly recommend that if you are interested in making shower gels at a reasonable price, give this a try.

COMMENTS: Some scents thin this shower gel to the point that it won't re-thicken. I've tried crothix and salt and neither work. So I'm using a lot of gel in testing. Some fragrances in my line will have a shower gel and some will have to be a bar soap instead. Best of both worlds. Upside is that I can use the testers all for myself.

COMMENTS: I used this because I wanted to offer body wash with my sugar scrub and body butter as a combo. It's not something I offer normally so I wanted something quick and non time consuming. Initally the was seemed fine, I only added a few drops of colorant my teenager reported back it smelled great but was thin. When I tested myself I found the lather thin and not long lasting. I normally am not disappointed but this time I was. The product works and is ok...just not thick nor produce a thick lather.

COMMENTS: I made Gardenia scented body wash using this as a base and almost 1 year later, the scent is still very strong & it bubbles up very nicely. I made several bottles for friends and they all loved it! It cleans well & leaves your skin feeling silky smooth, not oily-feeling like some bases I've used in the past. Definitely would recommend this product.

COMMENTS: I have scented this shower gel base with the Verbena fragrance (at 1%) and I did not experience thinning or clouding. In fact, it's quite thick and feels very luxurious. It also forms a lot of nice big bubbles. I love the convenience of having a product that is so easy to customize. Just heat up, add fragrance and you're done!

COMMENTS: I gave my mom a tester and she said it was the best shampoo she'd ever used! She buys high end toiletries so that is saying something. I did add Bubble Wash Pearlizer but no fragrance, it was uber thick, but she liked that, and said she doesn't need hair conditioner when she uses it and it also brought out natural curl she didn't know she had.
I think this product is an excellent shampoo for normal to oily hair, I found it a tiny bit drying to my scalp (I have super sensitive skin), but my hair was very nice after use. I'll be purchasing more of this, and marketing it for normal to oily hair, and will be trying the Conditioning shampoo sold here as well hoping it can be sold as a normal to dry hair product.

COMMENTS: I actually really like this product. The fragrance thinned it out, but I added the pearlizer & it looked beautiful & thickened up nicely. It states that it's good for bubble bath as well...I'm not sure if I think it'd be good, but I'll try it & I'll see. As for a shower gel, it really feels nice on the skin, provides a nice lather, & holds fragrance well. I even think it'd do wonderful as a hand soap. It also took color well. I'll purchase again.

My grandkids live it as bubble bath and my daughter said it leaves her skin as soft as the whipped soap. My 1st batch was a little thin and we had to use a lot to get a leather on the rag. The 2nd batch was better and thickened up but I think I will purchase the bubble thickener to help ensure it stays thick like it is right out the bottle. I will be purchasing more. I may have to hide it.

COMMENTS: I was interested in ordering the liquid suspension gel base but since it was out of stock I ordered this basic base. Other than the fact that I wasn't able to add glitter or jojoba beads to float around in there (they will sink to the bottom unless you use the slightly higher-priced liquid suspension base), it proved to be an excellent product for a great price. I ordered a gallon bottle to make various 2-3 oz. trial size shower gels. All you need is a small amount of fragrance, much less than you would use with MP or CP. Don't use too much or it can thin out your gel. Regardless, you don't need much at all. The fragrance adheres well to the gel, the bubbles are abundant and it also takes color well. I would definitely order this product again. Just pour into your plastic bottles or tubes, add an attractive label with name and ingredients and you're set. Very easy to use. A quick and desirable product with no fuss.

COMMENTS: This base is inexpensive enough and versatile enough for me to use throughout my house. In the kitchen I made a hand soap with the deoderizing fragrance oil, made a foaming pump soap for my bathroom, and have used all my fragrance oils to make matching shower gel to layer scents.
Most of the FOs I use will thin it out, but I am perfectly okay with that. Were I selling it to customers, however, I might thicken it back up.

COMMENTS: I bought this to use in a recipe that adds color and fragrance. However, I've been using the shower gel straight up - without anything added - and love the fluffy lather in the shower. It gives a clean, fresh feeling all on its own. Great for shaving! I bought a whole gallon, so am still planning to add some fragrance later and bottle it for my customers. It's relatively inexpensive, especially since a little goes a long way, so I definitely will buy again.

COMMENTS: Worked with this for the first time today and LOVE IT!! I have a nephew who asked me for a Vetyver Shower Gel, so I bought a couple of bottles of this.i heated the gel up to 150 degrees F and then cooled it down to about 120 degrees F and poured 1 percent of the fragrance oil into the gel and just stirred. I did not add anything else and it lathers well and smells great. Then, I made 5 ounces of the shower gel with French Lavender Essential oil AND since I have been infusing alkanet powder with olive oil for about 6 weeks, I added 11 drops of the hot pink color to the gel, while heating up to 150 degrees F. Then I cooled the shower gel and the alkanet-infused olive oil to about 120 degrees F and added French Lavender Essential Oil. The color is a pale blush that can pass for a lavender color. For my family and me, it's great!

COMMENTS: I use to use this same product 5/6 years ago when I was making my bath and body products. When I started again, they still had the gel. I was so very happy and excited to start again. This is a wonderful product. I have never had problems with it, it works wonderful and am excited to see what my customers say about it. It mixes well with any oil, fragrance or essential and is wonderful on the skin.

COMMENTS: I first began by getting a big jug of this to try myself before I sold it to my customers. It didn't take me long to see how great this product was! It was luxurious while offering a great amount of bubbles and carrying the fragrance oils I added to it amazingly well. It feel great on the skin and so far I've not had any complaints. I'm going to buy another bottle or two quite soon!

COMMENTS: I had used the suspension soap last time but went a cheaper route this time around. I am very happy with the soap and it holds fragrance very well. I do miss having a bit of glitter in my champagne soap but economically this one was worth switching to. It's the perfect body wash but I don't recommend it for bubble bath. The bubbles stay for all of 1 minute and then they are completely gone.

COMMENTS: I used the crafters choice shower gel to make shower gel to put in gift baskets for Christmas, I also kept a little bit for myself. It lathered up so nice and creamy, and it was so easy to do I just added some perfume fragrance oil and crafters choice stained liquid color and they turned out beautiful. For anyone making bath products for sale, I recommend this product. It made it so easy to complete my bath sets using the shower gel base.

COMMENTS: this stuff is amazing...I put it in the microwave to melt it a little, then I added my fragrance and color. After I bottled it and let it set a couple of hours it was awesome. Holds scent well and is silky on the skin. I just put this on the shelves of my store so we will see how it sells, but personally I LOVE IT!

COMMENTS: This is such a great product. Takes the guess work out of creating a wonderful shower gel or bubble bath. Recommend that Bubble Wash Thickener is purchased with this. My first attempt at shower gel turned into a watery substance that smelled great, but would never pass as a gel. I came back and read the reviews and saw a mention about some fragrances thinning out this product. Also purchased the 1 gallon pump to go with this.

COMMENTS: This shower gel takes fragrance and color well. I am selling an 8 oz of this product with fragrance and color for 3.50 with out problem. Unfortunately, my local store sells a 32 ounces product with the same ingredients for $3.50. However, this is a very good shower gel.

It gives tons of fluffy bubbles either way you use it...it rinses wonderfully clean without leaving a filmy residue on your skin...and it mixes beautifully with various fragrance oils and colorants to provide an endless list of options. COMMENTS: I absolutely love this stuff! It makes great lather and holds color very well! It does have a light scent that will transfer into whatever your making with it but I just add a couple extra drops of essential oil or fragrance oil. Also I found that if you use the solid color blocks with this liquid soap base it can change to a brownish color no matter what color you use. I have started using liquid color and it doesn't change colors at all. Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone!

COMMENTS: This is an awesome shower gel/hand wash!......nice bubbles, good amount of suds, feels clean, doesn't leave you feeling tight and holds fragrance well, however if/when you mix an oil it does become cloudy but, its like a pearlized look once mixed, so pending the look your going for you may want to do a test batch first.
