Directions:
Place item into the proper size shrink bag. Fold over the open end of the bag and tape in place. Use a heat gun or a hair dryer to shrink the bag.

"Very Useful!" COMMENTS:  We use these wraps with and without heat. They work well when heat is applied to shrink them around our bars of soap but sometimes we do not shrink them and just drop our soaps into them for shipping. The price for quantity can't be beaten! "Couldnt be Easier" COMMENTS:  Just received these shrink wrap bags- was a little apprehensive. No need though- these are super easy to use. I followed the advice I read on this site about shrinking the decorative or top of the soap first to avoid wrinkles, then flipped it over and did the back and the sides. So glad I got these, easy to use, they look good. Very satisfied. "Glad to find these! " COMMENTS:  It took some practice to get the hang of getting smooth edges and to keep from losing so many, but now that we've gotten it figured out, we have very little to no waste. The finished product looks much nicer than a cello bag tied off with raffia. I do still have trouble getting nice edges when wrapping various shapes rather than a typical bar cut from a loaf. Also, the wrappers tend to lose their snugness on my wrapped soaps after a while. They're still sealed and wrapped, of course, but the tight polished look is effected. I will still use these since I am overall pleased. I also like the 6x6 size for my taller bars. PRODUCT USED IN:   Soap - Cold Process

"Looks professional!" COMMENTS:  These are perfect for my loaf mold soaps. Also works for the large ball soaps, although it is a tight squeeze - but it works! My old hair dryer is good enough to shrink the wrap. Tip - wrap your soap in a piece of regular paper, and use that to slide your soap into the bag, then pull the paper out. Or, roll paper into a loose tube and insert it into the bag, then drop soap into the paper roll, and then slide paper out. It prevent soap drag marks, and it's the ONLY way that I can get the round balls into the bags! PRODUCT USED IN:   Soap - Melt & Pour

"Worked Great" COMMENTS:  I bought these for my bath bombs and melt & pour soaps. I used my food saver to seal the bags and a heat gun to shrink them. They worked as expected with no product problems. Helpful Hint: Be sure to hold your heat gun further away, on a low heat so you don't accidentally melt your bag. I made that mistake a few times. "Worked fine!" COMMENTS:  I used these on a batch of my melt and pour soap. I used them with a blow dryer. They shrank up fine. "Great Bags!" COMMENTS:  I have been using these to seal my oval bars of soap which I knew would be a challenge when I ordered these. After much practice I finally found that if I cut the 2 corners still showing off once I have taped the open end closed and begin shrinking it from the sealed end of the bag where I taped it down then turn the soap around and shrink from the end where I cut the two corners off, then flip over and shrink the back, it turns out very professional and nice. I then remove the scotch tape and add my own label to the back which gives the soap name, ingredients, and weight. I feel these will work great on my rectagle bars and square bars once I get to packaging them. Much better than the non shrink bags I was forced to use previously. "Quick and easy" COMMENTS:  I use these bags to wrap bath bombs. They are easy to use and I just tie with a bit of ribbon. Easy way to protect bath bombs from hands of potential customers while still allowing them to smell the product. Sometimes when I receive these they have small pin sized burn holes in them as if they were hit by a spark. Although this doesn't affect the way I use these it can make them difficult to separate which is why I gave it a less than excellent rating. "perfection" COMMENTS:  can't do with out our shrink wrap - who wants all those grubby fingerprints all over their soap or other products? cardboard boxes are wonderful but they crush and stain, paper cigar bands have issues also... shrink wrap bags to the rescue - at least for me. yes - it's added cost, but not much. yes - it's added time but so is wrapping/labeling our products in other ways. Just one thing - keep in mind... the size of your soap bars or whatever. my bars are 4" x 5" x 1", usually over 5oz ea., so.... they do not fit in these bags but smaller soaps will and so do many other products. "Used for everythin" COMMENTS:  These are great there is no use for the shrink bands with these. Just cut them a little bigger then your product, and wrap it around the product. Then apply heat. You can use it this way or put your product in the bag then apply heat. I think wrapping it around looks much better, for most things. "Nice Size, Good Quality" COMMENTS:  These bags are a nice size for both the Silicone Mold 1501 and Silicone Mold 1502. The small mold fit 3 different guest size soaps perfectly, which I made as Christmas stocking stuffers. The larger mold fits one approx. 4.5 oz. bar. There is not a lot of room at the top to tie a ribbon, however, so if you want more plastic on top you may want to size up. "I need some practice" COMMENTS:  I like these bags but I've gone through too many trying to get them to work well for my soap. I find it a little difficult to get the soap in the bag. I like that I can use my hair dryer to shrink the bag but it does take some practice to get it just right...at least it did for me. During my 4th attempt I managed to seal the bag just right. Unfortunately, on the next attempt, things didn't go so well. I must have had the dryer too close and I ended up melting my soap. Luckily, it is MP and I should be able to remelt and remold. "Works perfectly!" COMMENTS:  I have tried and tried to shrink wrap my MP soaps but have had such a difficult time with other company's wraps. I have always used a nice "saran" type wrap and my heat gun on "high" to wrap my soaps and it works well. The only thing I was trying to accomplish with these wraps was better protection of the bar or specialty soaps due to so much traveling with them. I wish the smell came through better like it does when I use the plastic wrap, but I have just made small "sample" soaps so my customers can know what the soap smells like before they make their purchase. I do like the better protection and watching the video really helped. I kept the heat gun on "low" and everything worked perfectly. My only complaint is that the bags have a "skunky" smell to them when they are first used. The smell does fade, but when I am wrapping soaps at the last minute, I have to let customers know that the bag is what smells like that, and not the soap. "These bags cut my packaging time in half!" COMMENTS:  These are so much easier to use instead of plastic wrap! You just open the bag, insert your soap, tape closed, seal with a heat gun, and attach any labels and/or gift packaging. I do have some suggestions for these bags, just to make it easier on you. The 4" X 6" shrink bags work best for soaps that are less than 4 oz. My 3.5 oz. football soaps fit in the bags a lot easier than the 4 oz. square soaps made with my Paw Prints Soap Mold Tray (MW 37). Before placing your soap in the bag, put on a pair of gloves, hold the bag in one hand and use your pointer and middle fingers on the other hand to open the bag up all the way down to the bottom. This makes it easier for the soap bar to slide all the way down to the bottom of the bag. Helpful Tip: You always want to start with the sides of the soap first. Keep the heat gun about 4 inches from the bags. If you get any closer, you will burn a hole in the bag and may melt your soap. Hold the heat gun up and lift the soap towards it and spin your hand to heat seal each side, but only for a few seconds with each pass. You may have to do a few passes to finish each side. Once the sides are done, apply the heat to the top of the soap bar, but only for a few seconds. As soon as it shrinks to the soap, you can do the back. Heat-sealing the sides first is important because there are small holes in the bags that allow air to escape while heat is applied. If you heat the top first, you may get air trapped in the top of the soap, so always do the sides first! "Love these bags" COMMENTS:  I really like the simplicity and ease of packaging my handmade soaps with these little bags. I pop one regular sized soap bar in and use a hair blow dryer to shrink the bag around the soap. You could get a heat seal gun from a hardware supply store for around $25 but I think the hair dryer works just fine. At the end you have perfectly packaged professional looking soaps to send out to customers or put on the shelf. I highly recommend these for people who want quick and professional results! "Great Bags" COMMENTS:  These shrink wrap bags work great for Melt and Pour soap. I wrap a heavy bond paper stock around my soap to slip the soap into the bag without leaving soap marks on the bag. The bags shrink nicely with the use of a rubber stamp heat tool. The bags seal very tightly and limit the amount of fragrance emitted. If you want you can add some pin prick holes to allow the fragrance to escape. I will be purchasing more in the future. You can heat the corners and push them down to mold them more to the soap, especially with odd shapes. Put your label over the back and it hides any bumps.
