Our Signature Three Butter Plus Melt and Pour Soap Base is opaque and white in color. It contains Shea butter, cocoa butter, and mango butter…all of which are thought to benefit dry skin. The 23 pound big block is ideal for larger projects, as it will make (92) 4 oz. bars of soap. Soap comes in a blue bag with twist tie and corrugate box. A single block measures 13 x 11.5 x 6 inches.

Directions:
MELT: Determine amount of melt and pour soap base needed for your project. Carefully slice soap base into small pieces and place in microwave safe container. Heat on low at 30 second intervals. Stir between intervals until liquid. Handle hot soap carefully as it may burn the skin. Soap can also be melted in a double boiler.
MOLD: Stir in cosmetic color, cosmetic scent, and skin safe additives. Pour into a Crafter's Choice mold. Spritz soap surface with rubbing alcohol to remove bubbles. Allow to cool until hard.
ENJOY: Remove from mold and wrap with airtight plastic wrap. Your newly created melt and pour soap is now ready to use!
CAUTION: Melted soap is hot! For ages 15 and older.

COMMENTS: For me, this is horrid I made 3 loaves and could not use a one. The color is translucent not white opaque and if you add shreds or embeds there is not contast as it is not "white" more a creamy texture and color. May be great fo skin but horrid for design. They should mention it is translucent one the site would never have bought so much. Had to go to Micheals and buy expensive cheap white to mix with it to get opaque.

COMMENTS: This is absolutely my favorite soap base! It lathers great and you can immediately feel the silky softness on your skin from it's first use. I used to swear by goat's milk soap but this far exceeds expectations. Although I still order Goat's Milk because of customer demand, this is definitely my go to soap base. I have received many compliments with my bar soaps as this holds the scent well too.

I have purchased all sorts of bases from many different companies over those years and always come back to this one. I generally add things for benefit or color or design, but you sure don't have to! This stuff feels good right out of the box! The price is very reasonable as well! My biggest test is always the sweat rate and though I live in pretty humid conditions, this base is pretty resilient!

COMMENTS: My customers LOVE this soap. I add a few teaspoons of olive oil and the lather is unbelievable! Leaves hands feeling smooth after washing. Blends well with both essential oils and fragrance oils. I used the 24lb block and find it quite easy to cut. From now on it with be the only base I use!
