Common Uses:
Body Butter. Body Moisturizer. This is a ready to use base. It can be used “as is” or it can have color and fragrance incorporated prior to packaging.

Maximum Temp Note: If a base is heated over “Maximum Heating Temperature” for greater than 5 minutes the current preservative system can be rendered inactive and additional preservative is required to prevent the growth of mold, bacteria and fungus. If more than 5% additives are incorporated into the base, the current preservative system will be diluted and additional preservative will be required.
Maximum Fragrance Note: Some fragrance and essential oils may thin or thicken this base. You will want to conduct performance testing to ensure your final product performs as you desire.

Directions:
Add approved skin-safe fragrance and color, if desired. Blend thoroughly and place into jars. Label per FDA label requirements.

COMMENTS: I bought a sample of this from a vendor, I hadn’t thought about it until now that I am not up to making my own creams and butter this year so this will do be a good substitute.
I love the ingredients it has everything I would add if I was creating my own bb without the time consuming set up and break down of my work station.
Will someone tell Karen that Diazolidinyl Urea is a preservative. Urea is a synthetic carbamide that is an exfoliant/ moisturizer.

"Feels a bit too heavy " |

COMMENTS: It’s moisturizing, no doubt about that. It made my dry hands feel so much better. But the lower star rating is because even though I applied only a small amount, as I rubbed it into my hands it started pilling on my skin and I had to go to the sink and brush off the little lotion bits. Once I wiped them off I can feel it on my hands a long time. I don’t personally mind that as I have extremely dry hands no matter what I do so a heavier formula just lasts longer on me. But I don’t know that I love the product because of the rubbing off in little lotion flakes.

COMMENTS: I used this to make my mother an after-bath body butter. I added coconut oil, Shea, and rice bran oil. She wanted something that will keep her skin moisturized during our harsh and long winters without having to apply lotion throughout the day. She loves it! It's been months and it hasn't separated at all...and I was generous with the "extras". With this product, you can really make it your own.

COMMENTS: Love this product, just wish it didn't have the diazolidinyl urea in it. While it's a great ingredient for moisturing, it also causes a sloughing action of dead skin. It's what my dermatologist recommends for my keratosis pilaris... but not something I want to sell to customers since I can't claim it helps KP.

"Fantastic base but leaves residue behind." |

COMMENTS: I thought I had found the perfect base for my body butters but I was wrong. I love this body butter base, especially the thickness and creaminess of it and so far I have gotten great reviews on it from my customers. However, my problem is that if you put too much on your skin, it leaves this annoying residue that takes some time to rub in all the way so you can only apply a small amount on your skin - almost reminds me of when a person gets dirty and they are so dirty that they start to rub their skin until these little dirt rolls start to form on the skin. I reached out to customer service and was told to warm the body butter and mix it well and I did exactly that but it didn't help at all, in fact it seemed to make it worse and residue was still there. Isopropyl Myristate does not help either as its already implemented in the body butter and will not do anything. I'm not sure what exact ingredient in the body butter base is causing the residue issue, maybe something does not really mix well in the base which causes the residue. Really sucks because this is an fantastic base but I just can't get past the residue and I want my customers to have the best.

COMMENTS: I like to use this base for a whipped body butter because it holds it's consistency very well and feels nice on the skin. I still prefer making my own body products so I can control the ingredients and quality but for the price, this isn't a bad base to use if you're in a hurry and don't have time before a show or holiday or just need to stock your shelves. COMMENTS: I love this body butter. It goes on smooth and seems to seal the skin, even after washing dishes my hands are still smooth and soft. I had a customer come running up to me the day after she had tried a sample telling me how soft and smooth her hands were even after washing dishes. Needless to say, she bought a jar. I can't stay out of the jar. lol I used it on my face without a reaction. Definitely, makes my skin appear younger. Holds a scent really well too. Very easy to whip up, light, creamy and non-oily.

COMMENTS: I love this base and I have gotten great feedback on it as a lotion. I use this with two specific scents but as separate items and it is really nice on the skin. My only issue is if you put on too much at a time it leaves residue and is hard to rub in so you have to put a little on at a time. Other than that I really enjoy the way it feels when it is put on at the right consistency.

I have experienced a little bit of wax as another review had said but it's nothing a little extra rubbing in doesn't fix. It's nice and thick and looks so pretty whipped up and spooned into jars.
