"Not a pleasent scent" |

COMMENTS: I made body butter samples with this scent, it was given to 10 men and only 2 men liked the scent. I did not like the scent at all and was very disappointed when I received it. This is a 2 thumbs down scent.

"Nailed this scent!" |

COMMENTS: This leather scent is so spot on. It's one that I can't stop smelling, and it makes the house smell amazing. It soaps fine, time for swirls if you're seasoned. Would blend well with a touch of vanilla. I absolutely love this oil.

"The best leather!" |

COMMENTS: This is, hands down, the best leather fragrance oil I've come across and the ONLY leather I will use in my products. You'll find no rough edges here.. only smooth, creamy, cozy, unisex leather. A keeper for sure!

"Excellent scent" |

"Fun name, fun scent" |

COMMENTS: So I made a few shaving soap bars in this scent by request and ended up calling them 50 shades. They were a fun hit. One man loved the scent so much he requested the scent in a candle which turned out great. It is a bit of a perfumy smell but nothing overpowering. It is soft and light. Men and women like the scent.

"Top choice for leather " |

COMMENTS: I bought numerous leather inspired fragrance oils. This is by far my favorite. I made a beeswax/coconut wax candle...surprised me that the throw is good. I like that it needs no blending, as many leather fragrances benefit by blending with other fragrance for balance. This one is just right all on it's own. I look fwd to trying cp soap with it... never thought I would want a leather smelling bar of soap... but this fragrance could work with any application!!

"LOVE IT" |

COMMENTS: I had no idea what to expect with this one between the description and the reviews, but to me it smells like warm ink and paper fresh from the printer, with a hint of good leather. I could not detect any overt sweetness to it, which to me was a good thing, I like that it is very subtle. I already have a couple people give it a sniff in a solid product, and they both loved it, too. I was a bit bashful to tell them the scent was called "Spank Me" lol so I went with my first thoughts of "Tattoo Parlor" and they both lit up like YEAAHH IT DOES SMELL LIKE (our fave tat place name)!!! This was easily my favorite out of several samples I tried.

"Mixed Interpretations " |

COMMENTS: We registered an account specifically for this FO and another new FO. We were seeking a leather suede fragrance & incorporated the FO into soap and lotion and presented to a test group. The fragrance was met with mixed interpretations. One couldn't identify the fragrance, but mentioned it was "sweet and a little sour." Another said it reminds her of a perfume she wore in middle school, Vanilla Fields. The third guessed pen ink. The fourth guessed "old-timey soda" ... "birch beer, root beer float?"
When told it was a leather and suede blend, all were surprised. No one disliked the FO, but, if you are seeking a true leather & suede FO, this is a fragrance oil that might be open to interpretation. Three stars because it can be renamed to fit different fragrances, but lacking two stars because we can't use it as a leather FO.

COMMENTS: This is really different. I have made some lotion with it and kept it scented lightly. But what I like the most is the perfume I made with this. Have had alot of compliments. It can be very strong. Just add small amounts at a time.
