Directions:

DIRECTIONS:  For liquid products, powder is best dissolved in distilled water and then added to the formula. For dry products, add desired amount of powder dye to dry ingredients.  This is a very concentrated powder.  Incorporate color into the formula slowly, using amount as desired.  Adding this color to a white base will produce a beautiful pastel color. Adding this color to a clear base will produce a stain glass clear color. 

TIPS:Using too much color may cause staining. Test your final product to insure optimal performance and no staining. Protect work areas and clothing when mixing.

STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase.

CAUTION: Approved for general cosmetics. Not approved for eye and lip products.  For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not inhale.

"Violet" COMMENTS:  When used in the same amount as shown in the photos, my fizzies were a blueish light violet and the water color was beautiful. To create the desired purple I had to mix this with a little red lake. I've attempted to made purple bombs using lakes only and they never looked right. PRODUCT USED IN:   Bath Fizzies & Salts

"Perfect purple " COMMENTS:  I was looking for a good color throw in my bath bomb and this worked great. I prefer lake colors but mixing red and blue to make purple has been experimental at best. PRODUCT USED IN:   Bath Fizzies & Salts

"Pretty Purple!! " COMMENTS:  I love the stained glass dyes. A crumb or a speck will color a whole batch of something nicely making them very economical. "Rich color" COMMENTS:  I love this color. I use purple in most of my products. The pigment is a light purple if used sparingly, or a dark purple if I use more. I would like it to be darker in my bath bombs, but it just turns out to look too blue. I love it though. Great amount for the price. "EXCELLENT PURPLE COLOR!" COMMENTS:  I've tried several purple powdered pigments, and this one produces a wonderful, vibrant purple color in my bath bombs. The best I've found by far! It comes in a very small jar, but a little goes a long way. I was happy to discover that the purple pigment does not stain skin when the bath bomb dissolves in the bath. (Awesome! No one wants to go around looking like Barney after their bath!) All in all, a great pigment option. Staff Answer You are correct. Only the bulk size in the Stained Glass dye powders are certified for bath bomb use. You can use the stained glass liquids. Staff Answer Powdered colorants work great in bath fizzies. They will not initially color your batch but once you begin to spritz it with alcohol or add your wet ingredients the color will be revealed. The stained glass colors are water based colors so they should not leave a ring in the tub unless you use butters in your fizzies.
