This celestial soap mold features two heavenly bodies together as a symbol of yin/yang and the balance of life. The Sun and Moon Soap Mold Tray makes nine square bars and is perfect for solstice celebrations, weddings, and the everyday celebration of life and energy.

Milky Way Soap Molds can tolerate temperatures of 135ºF to145ºF. Above these temperatures, warping may occur. Soap is easiest to release 12-24 hours after cooling.
Wash molds in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

Directions:
Melt & Pour Soap: Pour melted soap at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF into mold. Cool until soap has hardened. Remove soap from mold, and slice into bars. For easier unmolding, place into freezer for 30 minutes, and then immerse bottom of the mold in hot water for a few moments. Do not use cooking spray to coat mold.
Cold Process Soap: Coat the mold with cooking spray. Pour soap at trace into mold. After 24 hours, flip mold over onto a clean surface. Gently push the back of the mold until the soap begins to release then pull the soap out of the mold with a gloved hand. Slice into bars. Allow soap to cure for 4-8 weeks. Note that some cp soap recipes may require a week to harden enough to remove from the mold. If this is the case with your recipe, we recommend adding sodium lactate to your recipe to assist with creating a harder bar faster.
Lotion Bars: Pour melted lotion bar mixture into mold at a temperature no hotter than 135ºF. Allow mixture to solidify. Flip mold over onto clean surface. Gently push back of mold until lotion bar begins to release then pull bar out of mold. Slice into lotion bars.
Care:
Wash in warm, sudsy water. Please avoid the dishwasher because that can warp your molds or make them brittle.

"Love it" |

COMMENTS: I got this mold about 2 months ago with a kit but never used it until yesterday and I love it. It's a harder plastic than what you would get from the craft store. The soap was super easy to remove and there was nothing left behind in the mold.

COMMENTS: This is a great Mold, I used it for the first time, I have never used a milky way plastic tray mold before and I followed directions by spraying cooking spray in it before pouring my soap and it came out beautiful, I took it out 24 hours after letting my soap set up, and it came right out, I just turned it over, let some air get underneath the bottome by being patient, (you will see the air seperating your soap from the mold) and it just popped right out! I already ordered another kind of milky way tray mold of a different design.

COMMENTS: I try to keep my soap bars around 4 ounces so I like the size of these bars. This mold makes an attractive bar of soap. As usual, with Milky Way molds, it is easy to use and clean.
