COMMENTS: I was so stoked about this FO out of the bottle. However, the scent just disappeared once the soap was 24 hrs. old. The other issue with it was it morphed my deep purple color to a disgusting grey color. I'm not stuck with an ugly bar of soap with very little scent. Not happy at all.

"Excellent, but watch FO itself for color morph! " |

COMMENTS: Now, I totally LOVE this fragrance, despite HATING patchouli! It's so rich and full of the deep tones of frankincense and myrrh, with the sandalwood coming in at the end, and just a *slight* hint of patchouli, which was actually nice instead of overwhelming!
So. I understood and accounted for the vanilin changing it to light brown after the cure. Cool! What wasn't cool was the fact that the oil itself is BRIGHT YELLOW, and continued to react and threw off all my colors like CRAZY and completely lost the batch color-wise. Very disappointed about that.
BUT it came out perfect otherwise, and I had FOREVER to try and fix the coloring issue, the working time was amazing!!! ?? Order in summer, because once September hits, this baby is hardly ever in stock, it's just THAT good!!!

COMMENTS: I find this fragrance a bit intense and at first i thought i was going to hate it, it was so strong i had to keep the soap in a closet for two weeks. Well, now it has cured for 6 weeks and what i love the most is the scent retention, its nice to know that the recommended usage of 3% in CP soap means you are going to have a fragrant bar of soap and not have to use extra fragrance oil to achieve that, in the end its cost effective. There was slight discoloration as expected and some acceleration. This is definitely a great fragrance for the colder months.

COMMENTS: This is the most beautiful blend of sophistication anyone could want. Such rich, deep fragrance notes has just become a year round Luxury Spa Bar for my little venture. Customers didn't want to wait till next Christmas to get their fix. I make a MP / CP soap that's full of beauty, golden sparkles, and fragrance elegance. I must confess that this year I about wigged out when the fragrance was added to my batch it turned my soap a pukey bright yellowish-greenish mess. LOL. I calmed myself down and prayed silently that it would tone down as it hardened / cured, and that is exactly what it did!!
I must confess that I do add some EO's to this FO just to deepen and extend the wonderful aroma. Do I need to? Probably not, I just wanted there to be no disappointment!

COMMENTS: This is a very heavy scent, not for those that don't enjoy heavier earthy scents. There is a slight powderiness to it that is very pleasant and airy, but is anchored strongly by the patchouli and myrrh. It is indeed reminiscent of the incense burned in church on high holidays but significantly less smokey.
Behaved well in cp soap, slight discoloring but nothing major. This is a great seasonal scent and the name alone is excellent if you sell at Christmas time.

COMMENTS: This is almost a church incense scent to me. It sold very well at my craft fair and my family loved it. It does accelerate trace, but I only used one color and did no swirls so this was not an issue for me. I used red, so I can't speak to the degree of discoloration, but this scent has staying power. I used the full 6% and am happy I did because I am 6 weeks out and the soap still smells great. It's a musky earthy smell. I love it.

COMMENTS: My daughter and I both were impressed with this one. Very earthy and although we both used it in melt and pour soap and I used it in a hand cream, I would probably say this is more a man's scent. I really liked the fact that the fragrance stayed true whether I smelled it out of the bottle, in a melt and pour soap or added to hand cream. I can also make out all the notes. First the frankincense and myrrh, then the base of patchouli and sandalwood. Definitely a keeper for the holidays.

COMMENTS: I had a request for Frankincense and Myrrh soap and dreaded the idea since I thought the combination stank.
I ordered this fragrance oil because it said it had patchouli in it. Thought maybe that would make it work, and it did.
It is still rather earthy but the patchouli really helps round everything out. A lot of people actually like this smell in the soap and I've just about sold out of it. I might keep it around all year for the men, who especially like it.
No issues with it at all in the soap.

Don't know about Christmas, but this is a WONDERFUL Sweet exotic Lovely scent I want to use for my Deodorant and soaps. I think the Ladies will Love this as well as Men. I purchased Frankincense & Myrrh FO from another co. and it smells like Men's Cologne, This smells Like Heaven. I read a comment that someone thought it smelled like Cat Pee. Something was very wrong with their Nose, this smells Lovely. Haven't soaped with it yet, and all the reviews only commented on scent not how it soaped so we will see.

COMMENTS: Excellent when mixed with Vanilla Oak FO. Customer favorite for men, performs well in body sprays, MP shave pucks and hair shampoo. Will turn liquid soap brown over time even with using Vanilla Stabilizer. I haven't use this one for CP yet.

COMMENTS: Used in the detergent free three butter base for an Egyptian themed soap. Customers can not get enough! I used the minimum amount and it has a wonderful smell that seems to be just strong enough.

COMMENTS: I used this scent early on in my soap making career. This scent is amazing! It is a bit strong in the patchouli scent for some of my customers but I really like it. Though I do not consider it very manly a lot of my male customers really like it. It smells like Christmas to me. I ended up buying four times the amount I initially purchased back then because of the wonderful comments on it! Try it! It is amazing. It did however not come out as strongly as I would have hoped, but the smell comes through enough for people to smell it.
