Directions:
DIRECTIONS: Shake well before using. In a glass or plastic mixing container, slowly stir 1 part Vanilla Color Stabilizer to 2 parts fragrance oil. When mixing with fragrances with over 10% vanilla, use a 1 to 1 ratio. Stir well and allow to sit for 2 minutes then immediately add to base formula. Mixture best used within 15 minutes of mixing. TIPS: This product prevents the vanilla in fragrance oils from turning finished products brown. It will not prevent color changes in ingredients other than vanilla. Do not store this product after mixing. The stabilizer will turn into a solid state in temperatures below 68°F. To return to a liquid state, place bottle in warm water. Test your final product to insure optimal performance. STORAGE: Store in an airtight, cool, dark location. When stored properly, best used within 1 year from date of purchase. WARNING: GLOVES, MASK AND PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR MUST BE WORN WHEN WORKING WITH THIS PRODUCT. DO NOT INHALE. CAUTION: Use in a well-ventilated area. Do not ingest. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

I found out the hard way, why this is needed. I made a beautiful soap, smelled just like a cupcake, looked like one too.... until... It turned BROWN! oh my gosh... Beginners mistake back then.. now I know.. This is a must have when using any vanilla scents in your M&P soaps!

COMMENTS: I make HP soaps and the oils in my recipe make my soaps white enough without having to use titanium dioxide. One think I grew tired of was vanilla content FO's discoloring my soap. I was hesitant to try this because you have to use the same amount of stabilizer as you do FO and I wasn't happy about driving up the cost of my batches. However...this stuff actually works. My Lavender & Vanilla soap is just as white as when it came out of the pot. It's worth the money. I will buy again.

COMMENTS: I was new to the purpose of this product when I started using it a couple of years ago. I did my research and realized there were dozens of fragrances that have vanilla in their blends. I was unaware of this fact and ruined many bars over the years, truly ignorant of this product availability. Once I found it, I keep this in stock on a regular basis. It doesn't take much, so a smaller bottle will work, unless you produce in considerable bulk. It has very specific ratio instructions, as well as use instructions and a defined expiration date. There's very little guess work involved with this product, you just have to know the fragrance load you are working with and you're ready to pour.

COMMENTS: I did the Pumpkin Lager soap without the stabilizer first and it turned a medium brown. It was fine but just a little darker than I preferred. I used this the second time and it maintained its light color. It did darken ever so slightly, but I may have not used enough. It actually brought the soap to the off white I wanted.

COMMENTS: This is one product I always have on hand! I have to say, some of my soap creations that look lovely when they brown from fragrance oils that contain vanillin...and there are times when that is exactly what I am looking for. However, for those times when I want to achieve other color schemes and need to control the vanillin's effects, vanilla stabilizer is my all-mighty tool!
Now, I have learned over all my years of soaping that there are many other fragrance oil ingredients that can discolor soap brown (anyone who has tried to control 'Pink Sugar Type' with stabilizer can attest to that)...but vanillin doesn't stand a chance if this product is utilized in the appropriate levels. Also, I have used the MP version of stabilizer in my CP, HP, and CPOP with no problems at all!

COMMENTS: This helped me to finally keep my mini snowflakes with scents containing vanilla super white. Up until I found that out, they would turn a tan or light brownish color-and snowflakes are supposed to be white! This is very easy to use and does keep the color stabilized as to a pure white. Will keep using it!Very good product, just wish it had a longer shelf life.

I had made a big batch of Vanilla soap and two days later it was this awful brown !! I was so upset and thought I had done something wrong. I called customer service and was so happy with the representative, she was very easy to speak with gave me a bunch of tips, one being use this always with vanilla based items.. COMMENTS: This is an absolute necessity for fragrances including vanilla. We've tried it with a huge range of fragrances, and have had no issues with browning. I've tried vanilla stabilizers from other companies and they simply do not work as well as this one! A must have for any time that retaining a specific color is necessary.

COMMENTS: I haven't had a problem with discoloration after I started using this stabilizer. It's easy to use, doesn't alter the FO scent that I can tell, and keeps the brown away for a long time. A word of advice - if you don't use it overly often make sure to watch the expiration date. If it's after the date it will start to separate and not work well. It works perfectly before that.

COMMENTS: I LOVE vanilla smells! With that being said, if I didn't use Vanilla Stabilizer, I would have a lot of brown products! I use this in all my melt and pour soap and soap frosting.
